Yes I agree with that part but the rest is fine right? Remove the tall mast because it might affect center of balance of the Ship which is something which is not good in rough seas, so we can reduce the height of the Mast ,rest everything is fine and good! low profile Destroyer with good stealth, if we could make something like the Lider than it would be sick, imagine full Pak Navy will piss their pants after seeing something like that heading towards them.View attachment 131546

This is a design , why should we go for a ruskie design , destroyer designing experience exist at home too ,so better to design here

Where did I mention that? I said that we should try and take inspirations from designs like Russian lider and other foreign design and make our own design, you misunderstood my post. I am in full support of having a fully Indigenous design for project 18 but we should Try and take a bit of inspiration wherever we might need.

I want some thing like this, not more streched version of p15b

Frankly, undertaking of such a design similar to the Mogami class frigates would be way too risky and would end up being expensive. Also, I have my doubts if such a design can pack 100+ VLS cells.
An enlarged P15B design will do the job just fine, its just that those RBU pods and the ancient Thales LW-08 will need to be replaced with Lanza 3D aor surveillance radar, make the given changes and the P15B design template will itself become more stealthy.

And what do u mean by inspiration ? Do u think that a naval designer sit with a pen pencil to design and start making a good looking destroyer , lot of studies have to be done and it's better to do such studies on a existing design like vizag class then introduce a completely new designs , if u mean by exterior looks , then it's either flush deck u r talking about , which can be utilised easily , or integrated mast , which we tried but couldn't implement properly in vizag and nilgiri

considering the displacement, those destroyers will have impact on future ships.
imo, it will be better to go with stealth design as radars are getting more and more powerful

Our target as a destroyer is not to destroy Pakistan or any other country and they know it well
Vessels are made on basis of various technical geopolitical and doctrine studies which are different for every 190 countries
