LMAO......OMG.....this is too funny. Chinese workers cant take a shit in Pakistan without a security escort, and then they just get fed up are start beating their Pak policeman friends who are supposed to be protecting them.

I guess this must be the new state of the "all-weather everlasting friendship" between the Chinaman and Paki. China's OBOR looks like its going to be a lot of fun.

Chinese engineers and other staffers, engaged in the construction of M4 Motorway from Bahawalpur to Faisalabad, attacked policemen deployed for their security after the foreign workers were barred from leaving their camp's premises without a security squad, DawnNewsTV reported on Wednesday.

Several mobile phone clips doing rounds on social media show Chinese nationals approaching the police officials in a provocative manner and attacking them. A video showed a Chinese national standing on the bonnet of a police van, another video showed several Chinese nationals trashing policemen and some local people in plain clothes.

According to police officials, Chinese engineers and other officials wanted to leave their camp in Khanewal and visit a "red-light" area on Tuesday night. They resorted to agitation when denied permission to leave the camp without being accompanied by security officials.

Later, the Chinese engineers also cut power supply to the police camp established within the main construction camp, the officials added.

On Wednesday morning, the Chinese workers stopped work on the project and abandoned heavy machinery and vehicles on various roads in the area. They also resorted to violence and attacked police in their camp.

Subsequently, the protesting Chinese engineers wrote a letter to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, claiming that police officials refrained them from performing their duties and attacked them.

They also accused the security in-charge of attempting to hit the Chinese workers with his vehicle. Police officials, however, rejected the accusations and said they were fabricated.

Later in the day, Khanewal DPO Rizwan Omer Gondal held a meeting with the protesting Chinese workers following which they agreed to open the blocked roads.

Meanwhile, the police officials made it clear to the Chinese engineers that they will not be allowed to leave their camp without security arrangements.

This was not the first time when Chinese nationals in Pakistan attacked local police. In 2016, a clash occurred between the police and Chinese workers as the latter insisted on staying at a construction camp at night, but the former opposed the idea due to security reasons.

According to media reports, citing sources, some Chinese nationals associated with the Chinese army and trained in martial arts had attacked and injured police personnel deployed for their security.

However, the police had avoided taking any legal action against the Chinese to avert further conflict. In fact, the then CPO had suspended three SHOs and six other policemen for not restraining themselves from a clash.

Chinese children have no problem shitting in the middle of a crowded airport, they just don't know better. If they don't have their mommies to wipe their butt they get angry.

So the guys on Weibo are saying these are Chinese prison labourers and they have no right to go anywhere while the Paki police did not want to commit violence or cause an international incident so they let them go out of control. It is apparently politically sensitive topic for Chinese criminals to take Pakistani jobs.

Just read the first comment on Dawn article "Anyone taking law in their hands must be brought before law for a trial"

Pff..

These guys are already convicted criminals in China, who have been sent to Pakistan to serve their time as bonded labor.

I guess the CPEC means that all the countries participating are going to be sent the worst of Chinese criminals as bonded labor to inseminate the Paki whores with their wonderful hi-quality seed.

They live like Prisoners in secure compounds and then they finally lose control. China gets rid of its criminals and Pakistan gets the worst Chinese criminals who take jobs away from poor Pakis.

I just love it !!! WITH FRIENDS LIKE CHINA..... WHO NEED ENEMIES

You aren't going to love it when the majority of that $1.4 trillion lent overseas never comes back. That is the difference between the French and China, we only lend to countries stable enough to pay.

Forget deportation, first get them arrested for assaulting police officer in discharge of his duty. In 1st pic police officer who wears cap is assulted without reason by Chinese national. In 3rd pic you could see wireless set in the hand of officer. #CPEC

Even on the current affair discussion i posted above; no one is asking for their arrest. This shows Pak already has slave mentality. Now Chinese could do what ever they want and get away with it.

No rule of Law in Pak as always.

Pakistan: a Chinese colony? ----- from a Pakistani perspective
There are many who are critical of CPEC, arguing that it is China’s plan to colonise Pakistan
Dr Ejaz Hussain

https://dailytimes.com.pk/225183/pakistan-a-chinese-colony/

some excerpts :

...To add insult to injury, the other day, a number of Chinese workers were filmed while assaulting certain personnel of the police that were stationed there in Noor Pur camp (Khanewal, Punjab) to provide security to these Chinese nationals. The video of this shameful incident went viral on social media.

At one point during the scuffle with the police, the country project manager, Xu Libing, stood arrogantly on the bonnet of the police van with the Pakistani flag visible beside his joggers and shorts. Personally, I felt bad, humiliated and infuriated since we, as a nation, have acknowledged our brotherly friendship with China as being ‘higher than mountains’.

....The police high-ups have termed five Chinese workers as ‘persona non grata’ and recommended their expulsion from Pakistan. Reportedly, the incident occurred due to the non-compliance of the Chinese workers who, reportedly, wanted to be on their own so they could rendezvous with local prostitutes.

....Lastly, if CPEC is not negotiated rationally and managed intelligently, and if Pakistan continues to enhance its dependency on Chinese weapons, capital, technology and workforce, the testable notions of the colonisation of Pakistan will get sufficient data in the years to come.

some clear indications :
  • such incidents are bound to increase looking at cultural divide between Pakistan and China
  • Political protection to Chinese for such acts will be done as in reality it is a "Master - Servant" relationship
  • The authoritarian loving Chinese with their propensity for cunningness in trade will always stand a chance to clash with locals
  • lets see if Pakistan Politics loves more Chinese money or their own Freedom and Pride - latter is really doubtful
