NEW DELHI: India on Monday strongly condemned the resolutions adopted by the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) with regards to Kashmir and pointed out that it has no say whatsoever in the country's internal matters.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a firm rejoinder to the OIC, which had said during a recent foreign ministers' meeting that the unresolved Kashmir dispute was posing a threat to the peace and security of the region.

"India notes with utmost regret that the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), during its 44th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers held in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire on 10-11 July 2017, has again adopted certain resolutions which contain factually incorrect and misleading references to matters internal to India, including the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, which is an integral part of India," the MEA said in an official statement on Tuesday.

Rejecting the OIC's claims of "gross human rights violations in Kashmir" and "the continued terrorism by India in the valley", the foreign ministry asked the organisation to refrain from making such inaccurate statements in the future.

"India out rightly rejects all such references. The OIC has no locus standi on India's internal affairs. We strongly advise the OIC to refrain from making such references in future," it said.

OIC secretary general Yousef A Al-Othaimeen had chaired the 44th foreign ministers meeting during which a resolution was adopted that the Kashmir issue would be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people and the United Nations (UN) Security Council resolutions.

The secretary general had also "reaffirmed continued support to the people of held Kashmir in their struggle for the realisation of their right to self-determination", the Express Tribune had said in a report.
Adviser to the Pakistan Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz had been present at the meeting, wherein he had highlighted "Indian atrocities" in the Kashmir Valley following the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani on July 8 last year.

The OIC has 57 member states that include Turkey, UAE, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

I would really want to know what is the stand of Palestine about Kashmir when they are expecting India's Support about separate state. I am damn sure they will support the terrorist state Pakistan.. Its all about all mullah stay together and create havoc around the world to create an Islamic world..

It was high time India gave it its due recognition to Israel who helped us during Kargil war.. and many more..

:hail: All Hail INDO-ISRAEL Relationship.. :india2:

The OIC as a whole does not pass any resolution, all its resolution on Kashmir are passed by a contact within group with only four members since 1999 other than Pakis: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Saudis, Niger.

This lame duck organization has this silly habit of flogging a dead horse. The OIC is the biggest farce on planet Earth. No one cares about them since they are just a bunch of morons in a cosy Muslim Ummah club.

Now the question is what made these Assholes at OIC come to a Resolution on Kashmir.

They certainly didn't come during same time last year. When human rights were fake crying on Kashmir instability.

I bet, this is certainly not because of Pak army being obliterated on LOC.

This maybe due to huge no. Terrorists being killed like pigs. Saudi must be worried as it's investment is being wasted without bearing any fruit.

If OIC is shouting, then we are doing a good job.

OIC shouldn't have touched Kashmir. Especially when oil prices are low and Qatar crisis is still ongoing.

There are still delusional Indians who think Peaceful countries will be on our side. Spending money in peaceful countries is a gigantic waste of money.

Mark my words when the time of need will come all Muslim countries will support Pakistan against India.
