DFI announces the new new system that is in place from now onwards.
the aim is to award a military title to a member who must be referred to as
DFI lieuntenant or DFI major and in no way we are trying compare it with the original military ranks or titles.
DFI REGISTERED MEMBERS.<dependent on level of activity>
1. dfi gentleman cadet ------------- 0-99 posts
2. dfi 1st lieuntenant ------------- 100-499 posts
3. dfi captain -------------------- 500-999 posts
4. dfi major ---------------------- 1000-1499 posts
5. dfi lieuntenant colonel ---------- 1500- 1999 posts
6. dfi colonel --------------------- 2000 and above
DFI RESPECTED MEMBERS.< all ranks independent of post counts>
1. dfi stars ----------- default rank :- dfi colonel
2. dfi think tanks ----- default rank :- dfi Brigadier
3. dfi moderators ------ default rank :- dfi major general
4. dfi super moderators-- default rank :- dfi lieuntenant general
5. dfi administrators ----- default rank :- dfi general
an appropriate logo is put in place below the username of all members.
criteria for members promotion to the star status depends on the quality and also your contribution towards DFI.
Registered users will be promoted to the star status from time to time.
The think tank membership and add-ons will be limited to men from the services.
additional add-on services for each group will be notified soon.
DFI is a premier defence forum of india but still we are among the very few if not the only ones to have its management staff from different nationalities.
which bears resemblence to our aim of providing a neutral stage for healthy discussion and debate.
1.promotion to the respected members category is independent of the nationality/quantity and is to be decided by the dfi staff team only ,no such request will be entertained in this regard.
2.we try to involve all our members in the decision making process so watch out for the dfi announcements from time to time and fell free to express your ideas/opinions/complaints.
3.please read the forum rules carefully and try to stick to them at all times.
