New Member Titles

We have now created two new Member titles in order to distinguish and recognize the members who post regularly and devotedly on DFI.

These Member titles are

Ace Member - User with >6000 posts and < 10,000 posts and the color will be "dark blue"

Veteran Member - User with >10,000 posts and the color will be "Purple"

These members will have additional privileges from all other member groups.

This is our way of saying thank you to the dedicated members.

DD could you please expand the post and include the complete list, say start from post 0 - 100 rank=?' 100-200, rank=? and so on.

I have been searching for a similar thread, have not been able to locate the same, could you please either include them or provide a link for a thread giving the detail.

Who should be given more respect,a person with 500 posts with exceptional posts or a person with 5000 posts with sub-standard posts?

Just a reminder that the new ranks created are a recognition for all our members who spend a lot of time and effort to post on DFI and give us activity in terms of post count.

The other two ranks, Star and Elite are the discretion of staff and as informed to all, this rank cannot be solicited by anyone either on open thread or PMs to staff which automatically disqualifies them. DFI staff follows the posting by all members and is not shy of recognizing them no matter who it is without any bias when the time comes.

Ranks based on post count:

DFI Members : 0-999 posts.
Senior Members: 1,000-2,999 posts.
Exemplar Members: 3,000-5,999 posts.
Ace Members: 6,000-9,999 posts.
Veteran Members: 10,000 and more posts.

Ranks based on quality and post count:

Elite Members: good posting activity + a certain level of quality.
Star Member: only a quality poster.

How are the titles Lieutanant General, Lieutanant Colonel, General, Brigadier..etc given? is it on post count or quality?
