Gajapati were a ruling dynasty of Orissa around 10 th century i guess
They fought and defeated Delhi Sultans.

more specifically, it was the title of Orya kings, post Mahamegavahana dynasty, though there was also a specific dynasty in Odisha called the gajapati dynasty ?

to be fair, its mor elike the andhra kings fought everyone ever since Satavahana dynasty fell... Odisha ko bamboo kiya, Karnatak ko bamboo kiya, tamiliyo ko bamboo kiya. Ab India ko bhi bamboo kar raha haye woh andhra-pati choot ke dhakkan.

No, I'm preparing for Civils. My major subject is Mathematics. Have great knowledge about distorted history of India and little about the actual history of India. Thats how our text-books are designed. Have read at least 8 books on history. All mainstreams. None of them talk in lengths about Lalitaditya, Ahoms etc. but all of them how great Akbar, Vincent Arthur Smith, Max-Muller, Gandhis and what not.
Hope will get a greater insight about the actual history.
