He won’t reveal anything secret/confidential.
Because he thinks he's Elon Mishra

Just like Elon Musk likes to keep everyone in suspense by tweets like "something big happening today", "bots will find something tomorrow", "things are going to change"...he also does the same

Just try to dig up about the assault rifle trials of Pakistan. You'll see nothing is secret or confidential about military trials, they literally call journalist to document everything.

Indian Army to take 72k rifles from Indian firms that were supposed to be bought from American firm Sig Sauer
After the scrapping of second order for 72,000 Sig-716 rifles from the American firm Sig Sauer, Officials have said that the planned orders for the rifles are now going to be given to the Indian Private Arms manufacturer who have made significant developments in this field.

For example, the Indo-Israeli Joint Venture PLR systems has already started manufacturing all the variants of the Galil rifle and is currently being evaluated by the Indian Army.

Another firm SSS Defense has also presented its new 7.62 millimeters by 39 caliber rifle Ak type Assault Rifle to the Indian Army at the recently held North Tech Symposium 2022. SSS Defence has earlier revealed their P-72 family of Assault Rifles, Carbines and two Sniper rifle variants named Viper and Saber.

Finally coming around to pick the ACE as they should've instead of the Sig drama.

Who the heck has written this article?

Every line looks like a teen defence anal-yst who wishes to see Galil has written his wet dream.

I think ace is 2100$ and sig was around 1600$ maybe that's why they selected it
The price for Ace you quoted is higher because it's not manufactured in USA, whereas SIG's 716i is.

Considering Ace will be manufactured here locally, it may even prove cheaper than 716i.

India may scrap 6.5 lakh Ak-203 rifle deal, and opt for SSS Defence's upcoming 7.62mm Ak type Rifle
The much-awaited local production of 6.5 lakh 7.62 x 39 millimeters Russian Kalashnikov Ak-203 Assault Rifles was scheduled to begin production in March 2022.

But now, IgMp has learned that the officials associated with the project have pointed out that this long-delayed deal could be postponed further or could be scrapped altogether at any time.

On the other hand, Indian Private Sector firm SSS Defense is all set to unveil a new 7.62 x 39 millimeters rifle which is a modification of the company's existing P-72 Rapid Engagement Combat Rifle (RECR) and will be an improvement over the Russian Kalashnikov rifles and its derivatives such as the Ak-203.

Recently SSS Defense bagged the contract to modify Indian Army Ak-47 variants and they have already delivered the modifications kits to the Indian Army. Indian Army is said to have been impressed with the quality of modification kits delivered by the firm.

Repeated delays in price negotiations and technology transfer agreements with the Russians over Ak-203 may force MoD and the Indian Army to go for indigenous firm SSS Defense made upcoming Ak type 7.62mm Assault Rifle.

There’s absolutely no link between the AK-203 being scrapped and the P72, I don’t think the IA has even done user trails of any SSS product (after market mod kits don’t count )

At this rate the IA will have 5-6 different rifles/carbines in service across their regulars (another 2-3 on top for SFs)

what a bunch of absolute clowns
