2014 - maochut districts impacted = 161
2019 - maochut districts impacted = 44

There has been improvement but unless completely eradicated such events will occur even if the impacted district count goes down.

There is lot of road works etc. happening in these places & these parasites are getting desperate/will try such atrocities even more.
Have to kill there leaders in psyops... That's how odisha controlled maoism... Police needs political and public support as human right naxals plays adivasi card.

The core naxal regions are still intact though Govt. is slowly making inroads into no-go zones like Abujhmad, Dantewada and other areas.

This is typical of PLA reaction to us building border infrastructure thereby challenging their writ in the region besides reducing our reaction time and vastly improving our offensive capabilities.

It will take time, but we should prevail eventually. The ideology is more dangerous than the foot soldier. There is little protection for tribals against a gun wielding Naxal who orders them to accompany them as porters, cooks and also as sex slaves.

I agree with y'all.

Development works + taking out maochoot leaders + Sulwa Judum + Instilling unparalleled fear into over ground "writers"/"singers"/activists" + drones + constant negative messaging regarding overground workers

LOL.. given what they have managed to achieve and continue to achieve with piss poor budget and manpower, they deserve nothing less than a lifetime achievement award.
It's not so easy... A maoist naxal is a terrorist when wearing uniform and holding gun... But most of time they assimilate with in tribals as most are... You can not recognise who is a naxal n who is normal tribal... But there leader can be apprehended and killed in psyops...

But what happens after all resistance is quelled?

Mining? Deforestation?

Deevalopmantttt mitronnnnn....

From a neutral pov, resistance seems justified but then, lives are lost...so someone has to wield a bigger stick to tame the rebel.

As India progresses you will hear about repeated such "attempts" to derail India's security conditions
Those held in charge of security should be responsible for their failure whether to provide intelligence, equipments and better strategy.

Err... your reply seems totally out of context.

taliban literally uses civilian drones and modify them to arm. We should start using those swap drones and start arming them, instead of showing propaganda videos that we love to do.
Given the budget constraints this is the best we can do

Solution is salwa judum to be enforced again that's how you can win jungle war fare.
Until officers like IPS Kalluri and organisations like Salwa Judum and Naga battalions are brought back we might see more of such attack happen.

They need to be given a free hand and then we can see change.

I mean the fear of nagas and SJ is still on naxals and during tenure of IPS Kalluri in Bastar highest no of naxali body count and surrender was seen.
No doubt Salwa Judum was effective. Here is the proof. R@ndi rona of liberandus.
In BC MC liberals & unke jihaadi supporters ko bhi handle karna jaruri hai. Just read the headlines of articles these a$$wipes have written. Khoon khaul jayega. Pura ecosystem hai inka. Upar se niche tak pelna padega.

Contact was established between two large groups of Naxals and security forces.

Imagine two warring groups of battalion level strength spitting lead at each other. There will be losses.

If only our troopers had greater situational awareness that would give them an all round situ intel of a 3-5 km radius as they proceed towards their objective on foot.

The only POV from which resistance (armed) is justified is Maochut one. They have the option to lay down arms, participate in an election, push for their policy by winning etc.

But no, they want an armed resistance & wage on the nation.

State will react.
