Those are less risky and critical when compared to fighter jets in large numbers.. ?am I right @Decklander ?? when it's once again evident that India US relations can go wrong anytime and given our previous experience of sanctions, recent reports of spying etc we should not put more eggs in American basket..Russia and France or even Israel to an extend doesn't care if they are paid handsomely.

In my Personnel view No nations are ready to Help in worst Situations ..They made us a good Customer to them to sell their all Products

Instead of F-35b which even if we go, has a long que of customers waiting patiently, cant we work with Japanese for N-AMCA, a VTOL version to serve both our carrier needs. They are already building a 5th gen prototype,If they are willing to.

But When It can be Ready for induction ..after all The Japs need some 50 or 60 same we also need 50 or 60 ..for Just 100 aircraft how can be a nation can fund R&D and Production Lines


If we add Some Countries in the List with some 500+ orders makes worth of it ..Otherwise F 35 B is Cheap

Both our economies are big and also our needs would be bigger,we can also get aboard nations like brazil who have money and carriers would want to upgrade their fleet and aircrafts in future, also Indonesia would be a good a option. We would be lagging behind if we wait for AMCA airforce version.

The chinese would definitely be working on a naval 5th gen fighter and we cant fall behind them cause other options are expensive.

The problem with US middle finger is that it could turn against anybody who refused to be their puppets..and unlike other countries who might use an opportunity to make some money US will go ahead with sanctions(even if it hurts them economically ) and spying and stringent EUMA etc..other countries interests are mostly limited to make some money..Russian in the past(be it for what ever equations) especially on 1971 stood by India against the mighty Americans..
