Can aps counter against top attack ? Are they really efficient?
To a degree..Can aps counter against top attack ? Are they really efficient?
That's how things work here.Tonbo got traction at home only after the US special forces and Israel Aerospace Industries became its clients
The answer is - it depends. Against missiles like Nag/HELINA, it will be effective but against something like TOW-2B, not so much. On the other hand, the formers would be better at dealing with tanks equipped with ERA as compared to the other. So it's a trade-off, really. Can aps counter against top attack ? we didn’t know we had a golden goose in our backyard called information technology until Y2K frenzy happened in U.S.Tonbo got traction at home only after the US special forces and Israel Aerospace Industries became its clients
Sorry, it happens because MoD and procurement system is filled with corrupt sods who know that they won't earn in dollars in kickbacks if army purchases from local pvt companies ! It has nothing to do with a young country etc... Also, because of the decades of piss poor quality of OFB junk, army has a deep mistrust of anything made in Bharath !we didn’t know we had a golden goose in our backyard called information technology until Y2K frenzy happened in U.S.
it happens when you are a young country, there will be areas we haven’t yet realised our potential.

Wow this will put Amogha-3 in 4 generation category. If program succeeds I don't think DRDO MPATGM doesn't have a chance.Guided missiles homing in with Indian deep tech

I feel atleast 500 NAMICA should be procured, at the end what matters is how many enemy tanks you smoke quickly, and APS on every tank should pe installed, will cost aorunt $1.5bn but will make sure better survivability of tanks.
Here comes Nag Anti Tank missile...
