Muslim mob attacks police station in Bhuj, damages over two dozen vehicles

Bhuj, 27 July 2014

A group of Muslims today damaged over two dozen vehicles including police vehicles outside the 'B' division police station of Bhuj, the town which is district headquarters of border district Kutch in Gujarat.

Muslims had filed complaint against a youth who allegedly hurt their religious sentiments by a comment on social networking site Facebook.
When police arrested one youth who had posted that comment, the Muslims rushed to the 'B' division police station in Bhuj in large number and demanded that said youth should be handed over to them so that they can beat him in public.

When police denied their demand, Muslims went on rampage and started attacking police station with stones. Over two dozen vehicles parked outside the police station and in surrounding area were damaged due to heavy stone pelting by Muslims.

Police wanted to take a suspect to court, but it could not be made possible by violent mob of Muslims for more than couple of hours.

Police lobbed tear gas shells and fired five rounds in air to flush out the violent mob from the area.

For last few months, Muslims from various pockets of Kutch have started visiting police stations in groups to file complaint again some or other comment or post on Facebook of Whatsapp which they allege hurt their religious sentiments. Such new type of complaints are proving headache for police.

The last bastion of hinduism is not safe.
Gujarat police needs to show the same attitude when last time it saved cows from muslims.

Pretty much, it just asking to be hit, to create headlines about evil hindu communalism. And the western sepoys already have cells made up in the west (see this: http://defenceforumindia.com/forum/...niversity-berkeley-preparing-riots-india.html) to plan for "roadmaps for such situations". I wouldnt be surprised if these mobs had some external instigation. Why are such reports surfacing all of a sudden.

It may be tactic .if you attack then they would cry vicitimhood and if not then you are called cowards

I wonder why there no media is present or cameras or mobile phones are there when muslim mobs go on rampage while there is always a camera men or media or mobile when muslims got attacked

Modi gov must tackle this hooglians propely or all 300 + seats would go waste.

It's time India need a strong body to monitor these nefarious social media content and put up a firm mechanism to tackle the growing menace of communal poisoning via Social Media.

Their would be some hue and cry from "liberals" , but with a strong government in place it shouldn't be difficult to place such mechanism in practice.

Their are increasing cases of use of social media to radicalize and indoctrinate youth of particular community as found in case of four youths of Mumbai joining ISIS.

What make this platform dangerous is it's power of anonymity and geographical spread. Also no accountability can be enforced on a particular entity.

These issues need to be dealt as fast as possible. Hopes our NSA takes cognizance of same .

That was always the plan.

Muslims will play in the hands of Congress-I and its constellation parties, supported by leftist media. Hindus will retaliate and the whole blame will be of Modi for not reacting in time, even if he would deploy Army withing one day. The spin, the mislead and the message lost in translation will be the script running on media.

Having said that, I seriously believe, whatever these sikulars have planed, nothing will change the fact that Hindus are polarized for very a long term. Either congress-I will lean 'Right or parish. And they have been already started to sound 'Right' on couple of instances.

At the end of the day who will be the biggest loser is quite easy to predict. For Muslims, I see difficult days ahead.

You should visit any riot effected area and face those rioting "sane" people of peace established 7th century.

Why just 1 religion cant keep their religion unto their personal life? Why shove it on others throat?
