So I just recently read about the Taiping rebellion/revolution. The man who started the Taiping rebellion was an ethnic Chinese man who claimed that he was the brother of Jesus Christ. He raised an army to defeat the ruling Qing dynasty at that time who followed Confucianism. He called the people who followed Confucianism as demons and talked about a final battle in which his religions would triumph over Confucianism. The civil war lasted for about 10 years in which approximately 20 million people died. Fortunately, unlike the charlatan Muhammad of Arabia, this self-proclaimed brother of God charlatan died after being defeated by the Qing dynasty.
