The world is sleep walking towards Third World War as we approach hundredth anniversary of the founding of Nazi Germany. The behaviour of PRC is not very dissimilar to tactics employed by Hitler's Germany as confirmed by recent events .
Fareed's Global Briefing:CNN.Dec 15,2017:
America’s attention, at least as far as Asia is concerned, might be on North Korea. But in the South China Sea, a slow-moving crisis is continuing, a new analysis from the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative at the Center for Strategic and International Studies suggests, as China continues construction in disputed waters that could have significant military implications.

“While pursuing diplomatic outreach toward its Southeast Asian neighbors, Beijing continued substantial construction activities on its dual-use outposts in the Spratly and Paracel Islands,” the analysis says. “Beijing remains committed to advancing the next phase of its build-up -- construction of the infrastructure necessary for fully-functioning air and naval bases on the larger outposts.”
Believed to be included in the construction: “buried storage facilities…as well as previously-identified hangars, missile shelters, radar/communications facilities, and a high-frequency ‘elephant cage’ antenna array for signals intelligence at the southwest end of the island.”

    • China shows off its sharp power. China might not be seeking to conquer foreign lands.(Tibet,East Turkestan,Inner Mongolia?) But fears are growing that it is looking to “conquer foreign minds,” The Economist editorializes. Call it the application of “sharp power.”
“Like many countries, China has long tried to use visas, grants, investments and culture to pursue its interests. But its actions have recently grown more intimidating and encompassing. Its sharp power has a series of interlocking components: subversion, bullying and pressure, which combine to promote self-censorship. For China, the ultimate prize is preemptive kowtowing by those whom it has not approached, but who nonetheless fear losing funding, access or influence,” The Economist says.

“China has a history of spying on its diaspora, but the subversion has spread. In Australia and New Zealand Chinese money is alleged to have bought influence in politics, with party donations or payments to individual politicians. This week’s complaint from German intelligence said that China was using the LinkedIn business network to ensnare politicians and government officials, by having people posing as recruiters and think-tankers and offering free trips.”

China has built new radar installations (for monitoring) and underground tunnels (likely for ammo and/or supply storage) on its "artificial islands in the disputed South China Sea" this past year, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing imagery from the Center for Strategic and International Studies' Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative.
What's more, "China also continued construction work designed to transform the three larger Spratly outposts into fully functional joint air and naval bases, and to upgrade at least three more Paracel outposts that could be used to bolster its control of the South China Sea," according to AMTI.

Pot, kettle black? China's naval chief told his Aussie counterpart that Australia's "actions on the South China Sea run counter to the general trend of peace and stability in the disputed waterway…without pointing to any specific examples," Reuters reports from Beijing.
Worth noting: "Australia has previously drawn criticism from China for running surveillance flights over the South China Sea and supporting U.S. freedom of navigation exercises there. However, Australia has not conducted a unilateral freedom of navigation voyage of its own."
Recall that in the past week, Beijing has taken a particularly sharp stance against Australia in light of Canberra's efforts to curb interference in its own domestic politics.

WATCHOUT INDIA
Roncevert Ganan Almond in The Diplomat

According to the 2017 annual report of the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC), China’s senior leadership believes we are amidst a “period of strategic opportunity” during which China can expand national power and achieve objectives such as unification with Taiwan and control of disputed territory along China’s periphery. The USCC is a non-partisan Congressional body mandated with investigating the national security implications of U.S.-China relations, including Chinese military plans, strategy and doctrine.

Three USCC commissioners, including former Senator Jim Talent, offered in an addendum to the report intended to sound the alarm for U.S. policymakers: “In short, China is not just an asymmetric threat to the United States, or even a near-peer competitor. It has become, in its region, the dominant military power. That fact, more than any other, explains why China’s aggressions over the last five years have been successful.” These actions include “the ‘great wall of sand’ in the South China Sea, the ADIZ in the East China Sea, aggression against the Philippines in defiance of international law, coercion of Vietnam over the Spratly Islands, increasing pressure on Taiwan, harassment of Japan over the Senkaku Islands, and other provocative acts.” We could add to this list the stand-off with India in the Doklam region of the disputed China-Bhutan border.

The international security dynamic remains tense and unpredictable.
Xi, who has become the most powerful Chinese leader since Mao, has vowed to realize a new “Chinese Dream” – the great restoration of Chinese power and “lost” territory – galvanizing crowds at Communist Party rallies. Propagandists have reportedly carried “with Mao-like zeal” the revised Communist Party charter enshrining “Xi Jinping Thought” to outposts in the South China Sea.
However, standing in the way of Xi’s Chinese renaissance is a security architecture buttressed by American power............... a Chinese leap forward, through military modernization and advanced technology, will lead to a new and dangerous phase in international relations.

Five Chinese military aircraft flew into airspace claimed by South Korea on Monday, lingering for about three and a half hours in a contested area known as the Socotra Rock, in the Yellow Sea, The Wall Street Journal reports. "The rock, known as Ieodo in South Korea and Suyan Rock in China, is about 180 miles from the Chinese mainland and about 90 miles from the nearest island in South Korean territory."
Seoul's defense ministry said it scrambled jets for "emergency sorties to the area until we confirmed the Chinese planes had exited the Korea air defense identification zone."
Worth noting: "Although alleged violations of air defense identification zones aren't uncommon, Monday's incident came just days after South Korean President Moon Jae-in's fence-mending visit to China," the Journal writes.

Fence mending with thugs, liars and backstabbers!! Lets hope President Moon Jae-in learnt a thing or two
about PRC and CPC leadership.

Yeah, China is pretty much the worst. Surveillance everywhere, robotic zombies brainwashed with propaganda since birth, dog eating, worthless products and poor taste. The country really has it all. To think it was once a leading civilisation....I guess we're firmly in the Kali Yuga.

They are playing rising superpower better than us.i leave it at that politely.

We should concentrate on imbibing tactics from them to make our race and culture to gain influence instead of listening to losers in the West who are squandering their ancestors inherited treasures and greatness.

You are absolutely right. They know where they are, where they want to be and how they will get there.
The Chinese are pragmatic, resourceful and hard working people who get the job done. What they have
achieved in thirty odd years is nothing short of miracle.I am sure with right kind of leadership we can
replicate that in India. The PRC success is in danger of being derailed by the arrogance of CPC leadership.
Their Nazi style tactics in resolving disagreements with countries that refuse to bow down or acquiesce
will have very serious implications.Antagonizing India is a serious error in judgement by the PRC/CPC
leadership.
