Delhi | The F-INSAS soldiers have been provided with the #AK203 assault rifles, planned to be manufactured in Amethi in a joint venture between #Indian and #Russian entities. #MadeInIndia

Indian Version of AK-203 assault rifle

So are we getting actual AK-203 now ?
as far as i know recently they showcased these pics on various internet articles on IA's version of AK-203 but unless there was actual visual confirmation i wasn't willing to believe in it, now...let's see...

If this is AK203 then yes, we are getting it. Saw a dibbi full of these just a week back.

And yes Bayonets are Russi @Tactical Doge

sirjee, when our defense minister can address as such chappal clad kurta Paijama armed 🐢🐢- - Is not it toooooo much to expect at this moment, at least our Jawans will get some decent armor (hopefully class 3+ with bit light in weight)and some secure communication line instead of Redmi or Oppo 4G phones!! working as such! along with a 15 kg steel plate insert, which can't even stop / contain the fragmentation of the bullet core, which presents self more lethal than the bullet itself if the naked armor some how gets able to stop it!!

At least they somehow understood that IA is inferior to even Ugandan army in case of basic s to basics except gigachad moral!! That's a mammoth Achievement to celebrate for least an Year.:clock::clock:

BJP is SMPP MV-PRO, level 3+rating or more, depends on the inserts they add, SMPP provide CARASTOP, deal signed in 2018 included over 1.1 million armor plates. By the looks of it, very good at stopping AK rounds and 7.62 NATO. So casualties should reduce drastically in the coming years at least that's something. Helmet is the Mukut with integrated comms

SMPP awarded largest ever USD $100 Mn Body Armor contract by Indian MOD - Asian Military Review

SMPP (smgroupindia.com)

Ballistic Eyewear also from MKU

AK-203, miles better than INSAS, at this point, I couldn't care, hopefully inducted in numbers asap

New VEER helmet for Sikh Soldiers

BALLISTIC HELMET FOR SIKH SOLDIERS (mku.com)

Sikh Soldiers going to be full Darth vader mode

Comfortable and combat-ready: India's Sikh soldiers to get 'Veer' helmets with ballistic protection (timesnownews.com)

KAVRO BALLISTIC EYEWEAR (mku.com)
What's getting you so much to the edge of the seat .
The first few infos are correct about SMPP plates , MKU helmets .

The goggles might be from any other miscellaneous brand
Ak-203 is better than insas but to what extent . Roles of a weapon signifies it's final utility . For CQC this is perfect .
Kavro system is nothing but a portfolio and brand change of the former items . Possibily a few design changes and minor upgrades nothing excessive until Indian Military decided on procurement. Veer Sikh helmet is just an innovation not an actual usable procured version . It hinders with design reliability as well as low profile .

On the other hand this is better than what we formerly had . What's actually impressive is the comms and headset . What needs to be observed by time in future should be the induction of such systems . Whether individual handsfree radio comm eqts are provided then it should be good.

But Indian procurement system always has been
"Can we , Will we and have We ?"

On the brighter side , I'll ask multiple people to stop overreacting. It's true we are one generation behind but that doesn't mean in anyway that we aren't trying .
5 months in and we're still b*tching about the camo , when it has already been proved to reflect light in multiple manners in order to adapt to shades . And Digital Camo is absolutely modern and not outdated at all . Multiple countries still use it and we've barely seen any uses of ours in warzones for more info visit camouflage and uniform thread .

No soldier is stupid enough that he'll wear that unmodular , heavyweight body Armor to battles . They'll swap out the plates into zipper molle vests and plate carriers .

The helmet is pretty good but a MKU HCBH would've proved more proficient given the elevated warfare regions to reduce weight and profile and accommodation with comm headsets.

Elbow and knee pads Lackey as always . hope we get some provision to integrate them into clothes or atleast go with lightweight versions

Boots are a little too "goody too shoes" and shiny . But we've seen how these get swapped out by the recently procured jungle boots , so it doesn't require so much a thought

Yeah same thinking the soldier wore the shoe which was given earlier but recently new mountain shoes have inducted so not a big issue of integrating it with infantry and also they could give much larger orders for it
This issue can bee solved as alternative is in army's mind

According to the Alpha Defence Guy the comms and all are part of it tho not visible here, you guys are unnecessarily black-pilled for some reason, this is practical and in our budget except the BPJ everything is fine to me, and this could be implemented faster and act as a good base then any new tech could be added over it. Similar stuff we saw in Kashmir and LOC.

i was referring to Aman here, according to him
"Comms, sights are there . Some folks had doubts about the Exoskeleton, DRDO is developing a Knee and Waist Powered Exoskeleton. Indian Army's SDD is also developing an Exoskeleton with a pvt vendor. About VR glasses, already inducted. "

I am not at the edge of my seat, just saying if standard infantry can be brought to this level in the next couple of years, big step forward. There's nothing Gucci about this gear but it's for sure an upgrade.

Bro that's just a radio connected with integrated headset of helmet
That's not proper coms for future or even now those radios and helmets are in army's service
Proper dedicated coms basically sdr and complement to bms system so we have to wait for phase 2
There is nothing disappointing here
