3 billion dollars, for just 30 drones.
That is 100 million dollar per drone.
With that amount of money, we could have purchased another 71 lca mk1A.
Armed drones with the necessary infrastructure, training and weapon's package none of which are cheap. You're kinda forgetting the air assets are seldom bought with their unit prices in mind alone, not to mention this isn't a bulk order either. If you compare it to how much the Saudis paid we're actually getting more drones for a lesser price. Not to mention we don't need more Mk1As, assuming HAL could produce more in the first place. The Mk1A has limited capabilities and it is not really an optimized design for today, neither is the Mk1. Until we come out with the Mk2 and AMCA, 120-ish are enough. On the other hand we need armed drones that can provide ISR and drop bombs at the same time and we need them now.

I can see Chinese army Uniform, IA is so good wearing uniforms of the enemy and fooling them😏.
That's the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP), known in US Army service as Army Combat Uniform (ACU) pattern. The ECWCS clothing kits came from US, so in that camo.

But US Army doesn't use this anymore, they switched to Multicam-based OCP.
