Infantry equipment of ia is pathetic....... standard issue helmet sucks,no tactical gloves, no tactical goggles, no bpjs etc wonder why our infantry is so neglected..
Do You guys purchase equipment off-market? I had to purchase some things when I was serving as standard issue things usually sucked
Modern Infantry system of Germany Soldier .
Finally they took out useless ZF 3x4° optics and changed butt-stock. Our G36 KA-4 went for picatiny rails instead of keeping these optics.

Black Hornet Nano Unmanned Air Vehicle

The Black Hornet Nano military unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) measures around 10 cm x 2.5 cm and provides troops on the ground with local situational awareness. The drones are small enough to fit in one hand and weigh just over half an ounce (including batteries). The UAV is equipped with a camera which gives the operator full-motion video and still images. The aircraft has been developed by Prox Dynamics AS of Norway as part of a £20 million contract for 160 units with Marlborough Communications Ltd

XM25 Counter Defilade Target Engagement weapon system ready for low-rate initial production.

Lt. Col. Shawn Lucas, the PEO Soldier program manager for individual weapons at Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., said the XM25 is currently in the "engineering and manufacturing development phase," not yet ready for fielding. The XM25 Counter Defilade Target Engagement weapon system is now in development. But by this time next year, the system may have moved into low-rate initial production and if so, will lose the experimental "X" prefix.

True to form, Beyond has integrated this customer feedback into the product line, realtime. The video below highlights Beyond's new universal pocket through a fit and function test of popular pad systems. The pant featured is the Beyond L9 Combat Pant and is available now in both Multicam and Woodland patterns. As you can see, it accepts both the Crye and D3O pads.

DSEi – Smith Elite

What happens when you you combine the Echo and the Boogie? Why the Boogie Aviator of course! Aviators came to Smith requesting that engineer a way for them to wear the Boogie with their flight helmets. Smith took a hard look at the HGU-56/P helmet and realized the answer wasn't a goggle but rather glasses with a goggle type seal.

The Boogie Aviator integrates two technologies. Their new slotted ventilation as well as the slotted lens technology which allows the eye pro to conform to more face shapes without optical distortion. Additionally, it helps dissipate energy across the lens rather than transmit it into the head. Additionally, as it is based on the Echo frame, swapping out lenses is as simple as opening two PivLocks. Conversely, you can adapt the Boogie Aviator lens to existing Echo and Arc frames. Finally, and most importantly for Aviators, the simple, thin temples of the Echo make donning and doffing the eye pro while wearing a helmet, a cinch.

DSEi – NFM

These vests were built by NFM as a sub to Sagem as part of the SmartVest program currently being undertaken by the BeNeLux. Sagem is also working on the next generation of the French soldier system, FELIN.

Underneath these outer vests named LCVA and LCVB, the Soldier wears a fragmentation or soft armor vest. Along with the integrated vest seen to the right, these four vests make up the system which is joined by three packs including a 100 liter 48 hour pack. The packs share an integrated waist belt that can be used with the vests as well as used alone as a cartridge belt.

You will note the 6/12 technology as well as the Tubes which is used as a front closure on this vest rather than a zipper. Awhile back, we told you that FirstSpear had entered into a cooperative agreement with NFM to utilize their technology. This makes them the exclusive
Licensee of these technologies.

Interestingly, these vests feature 6/12 technology on the front and PALS at the rear. This is so a user won't place any comma devices at the rear and route the cables internally and possibly foul a quick release.

Here you can see the internal cable management afforded by the 6/12.

Above, is a shot of how the plates are carried. Under this concept, the Soldier dons he plates only when needed and can wear a much lower profile frag vest for other tasks.

DSEi – Trijicon

It's a first focal plane optic with two different BDC reticles available. One is a horseshoe dot and the other is a segmented circle. There are currently three different BDCs; 5.56mm, 7.62mm and .300 Blackout. The VCOG relies on a single AA battery offering 700 hours of continuous use on settings 4-6. It's built to Mil Spec and guarantees 4"³ of eye relief regardless of magnification.

Finally, the VCOG offers a unique feature. The Integrated Mounting Adapter is compatible with not only their ACOG mounts but many other commercially available models as well.

DSEi – CTC Defense

As you can see, the modularity is effected by a simple throw lever system.

The MVF-600 is a mil-spec (810-G) modular vertical foregrip. While a standard package consists of a visible or IR laser and 200 lumen light, they also offer modules that provide IR illumination as well as remote tape switching for other weapon accessories such as a PEQ.

HSGI – M24P Day Pack

High Speed Gear has introduced their brand-new M24P Day Pack. They simplified and refined the design of the M24P from their original "moose" pack line, providing a basic but tough pack that meets the needs of professionals in law enforcement and military and civilians alike. The M24P is large enough for sustainment gear, extra ammunition, medical supplies, and other gear for a rapid deployment, yet small enough to provide versatile storage options. The MP24 is constructed of 1000 Denier nylon, and features padded shoulder straps. The internal compartment has two large mesh pockets that can fit a large armor plate. The M24P is available both with and without exterior PALS webbing, and in solid colors and camouflage patterns. The packs will be sold exclusively through SKD Tactical for a limited time.

Panacis

Panacis will be exhibiting its Energy SharePack at the 2014 Maneuver Warfighting Conference located at Ft Benning, GA.

SharePack provides flexible energy storage, power management, and energy harvesting in a multi-port, 2 lb package that can easily be adapted to a wide range of mission scenarios:

- Store – it stores energy internally as a rechargeable battery.

- Deliver – it powers one or more devices at the same time.

- Harvest – it charges directly from many sources without the need for an intermediary device.

- Share – it combines energy automatically with other SharePacks to increase capacity and power output.

SharePack can take energy from anywhere; not a joule need be wasted.

SharePack's multi-function capability improves "efficiency of energy use", which means that the individual warfighter and the squad can carry less spares and use less cabling. Recharging can be performed directly from energy sources in the immediate environment, e.g. solar blankets, military vehicle power, DC generators, and even partially used batteries that would normally be discarded.

The flexibility of the SharePack means that users can manage their
own power needs and wear the device(s) where most comfortable.

SharePack comes in two form factors, which fit standard issue military pouch sizes to allow use of existing load carriage equipment. An LCD provides detailed information about the system such as state of charge, time to empty, and mode of operation (charging, discharging, scavenging).
