Indian- Foreign JV: Tata Hitachi

Indian manufacturers: Mahindra, Escorts, ACE cranes, BEML & even Medium-sized firms like Bull Machines (manufactured backhoe/loader/dozer attachments earlier), Preet Tractors (Combine Harvester Manufacturers). We also export them to GCC, South America & Africa.

Since backhoes are the mostly general purpose machines & are employed in both small & large scale construction, the high number of backhoe manufacturers can only indicate one thing. A construction boom.

This guy should be invited to set up shop in India.
India is a natural market for this philosophy. we used to do it with our assembled PCs, consumers will embrace it if the same can be done with laptops as well.

As a sign of confidence in Mexico, the Indian brand Bajaj Auto Limited will begin to assemble its motorcycles in the country, hand in hand with the Mexican MotoDrive, the most important distributor of this type of vehicle in the national territory.

The production plant in Toluca, State of Mexico, with the capacity to manufacture about 50 thousand motorcycles per year, is expected to start operations shortly, which will allow both companies to continue advancing within the Mexican market.

Bajaj is a world leader in low-displacement motorcycles as well as in the development of new technologies, said Ernesto Ibarra, MotoDrive Network Development Manager.

equipped with an open command platform with anti-tip structure, optional roof and adjustable seat. It was the tractor that accompanied the 75HP in Agroactiva 2013 and later it could also be seen in July of the same year at Tecnópolis, the state exhibition. We leave the note below: "This time the firm is exhibiting the 90 HP Apache-Solis“ national ”tractor, whose parts (in a 50 percent percentage) are manufactured in the country, more specifically in the province of Santa Fe. "Our company is betting on the substitution of imports, and that is why the tractor, which is our first experience, is going to acquire enormous relevance in the framework of the exhibition," said the head of the firm, Carlos Castellani.
Indeed, the proposal to manufacture a tractor (with the majority of national parts) began to be drawn up around five years ago and consisted of a cooperation between the companies of Argentina and India for a gradual process of integration of local and non-local parts and components. , together with the exchange of experiences and best industrial practices. The process now acquires its most important point after a strong investment by the factory in producing parts of the machine that were previously brought from abroad.

Manufacturing location: Las Parejas, Belgrano department, Santa Fe province.

Manufacturing start: 2013
Manufacturing end: 20XX
Origin: India / Argentina

Regarding the agreement with the Indian company Sonalika, Apache produces two models of tractors in the country. In 2010, the head of the Apache firm, Carlos Castellani, and the head of Sonalika's foreign trade area, Ram Gopal Dhiman, met at the Las Parejas company itself to take that crucial step that is now taking definite momentum.
Available in simple and all-wheel drive. Open command platform with anti-tip structure and adjustable seat.
Optional: Rigid roof.
It was formally presented at the Agroactiva exhibition that was held in the city of Cañada de Gómez from Wednesday 12 to Saturday 15 June 2013. The idea of the businessmen includes exporting it for commercialization in several neighboring countries such as Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.

Manufacturing location: Las Parejas, Belgano department, Santa Fe province.

Manufacturing end: 20XX

Lab Grown Diamonds Sparking the Atmanirbhar Bharat Dream

It is a well-known fact that India has had a long-established connection with diamonds not since years but centuries! The earliest diamond in the world was found in India in the 4th century BC and later some of the finest quality diamonds (majority Type IIa diamonds) were produced from the historical Golconda mines during the 7th century BC.

Over time as the Indian mines depleted, India’s control over the trade got restricted to its strong manufacturing capabilities where in over 95% of the diamonds worldwide are cut & polished in India.

However, times are changing again for India. With rising popularity of lab grown diamond across the world and India being the world’s leading producer of Type IIa CVD diamonds – India once again is regaining its claim to fame of being the world’s leading producer of the finest quality diamonds.

Thanks to the CVD (Carbon Vapor Deposition) technology that is indigenously developed and completely made in India – India is now emerging as a global hub of not just manufacturing but also Diamond Production.

“This is just the beginning for India. FY 21 yet again proved to be a robust year for the Indian lab grown industry with exports up 74% y/y, crossing INR 5,000 Crores in value. Going forward, the industry will see an even stronger growth in exports as global economies recover and there will be a significant pick up in consumer demand. And India will have a huge role to play in further shaping up the industry worldwide because of its expanding growing & production strength of CVD diamonds combined with manufacturing strength but also a huge consumption potential with the largest millennial population,” says Limbasiya.
Friends, just an amateur question; can lab-grown diamonds be mass-produced or does the process require significant time and resources, making it unviable to commoditize?

The Quality and production capacity for lab-grown diamond have increased a lot in past 20 years. Also it's increasingly becoming difficult to differentiate between lab-grown diamond and a natural one.(Only labs can tell now)

In next 10 years they can be produced in large enough numbers to satisfy market requirement.

in this case by DIY they mean “Right to repair”, companies like apple design their machines in such a way that they can’t be repaired by someone outside their network.

In our case just like there was a CPU assembly industry, I am making an assumption there would be a laptop assembly industry.

I am assuming CPU assembly in those tiny shops still exist in India today, where you select the hardware and the guy assembles the CPU for you.

Laptop are a different case laptop is something that you bring with yourself to places and hence it has to he compact and efficient. If u were to makr a DIY laptop it would lag in performance quite a bit.

laptop parts usually scaled down version of desktop parts.
Laptop need fine precision to ensure thermal efficiency and ensure laptop run for long.
The chassis is not standard it will be custom made for the parts used by the vendor.

You cant just pull parts from different vendors are put into one case of your liking.

Secondly the DIY in India is usually the Assembler work. Most people can buy parts themselves but putting it together they take help from known person or by assembler shops.

And correct term would be Desktop assembly and not CPU assembly.
