Why are you raising irrelevant points?
Don't you know its only indigenous platforms that must work perfectly well under all conditions.
Its all right though when t-90s electronics conk off because its too hot, su-30s have sub par utilisation or almost every single fighter jet coming into the IAF sees problems with radar / avionics which only get fixed over time.

Tanks need active protection systems like Trophy for most tank battles (which almost always happen in open and exposed fields). In open fields tanks are vulnetable to modern and much cheaper ATGMs.That's why active protection system is now a must in modern battles involving tanks.

There are very fiew if not none at all tank battles in dense forest. Tanks cannot maneuver, cannot aim and cannot use its main gun in confined spaces of a forested area. Besides, if ever tanks go into forested ares for short cut then they will be protected by dismounted infantries. Without dismounted infantries tanks are toast in this kind of battle area.

No tank can withstand even basic ATGM unless APS (active protection system) is installed. India needs to speed up installing APS from Israel or SAAB South Africa ASAP.
