Truth ? If yes then it's first step of americal cultural enrichment inside your homeland, already Jair Bolsonaro was prevented to stand up in elections by the courts there and now this sort of abrupt 'legalization' ?
Does the supreme court of Brazil have any legislative power to enact anything legal or illegal based on whatever interpretation they do of the constitution there ? or is this some sort of extra-judicial activism going on there ? Did they take public opinion in account with some proper voting in favour/against this thing ?

from this far away it seems some dark days ahead for Brazil, but your opinions and comments are highly valuable.

If Venezuela does carry out something so foolish , the US would directly intervene. This isn't distant Europe or Africa or Asia where the US would've think twice about it's support base , logistics etc . before embarking on an expedition. This is their own backyard where they're the boss. In case anyone has any different ideas , they get to meet the boss in person.

It is unlikely that Venezuela has the finances to even pay the regular soldiers, let alone wage a war against another country. Knowing Biden, the US won't meddle here. The Brazilian military is more than capable to intervene and stop any such designs. Such a misadventure would be the perfect opportunity for Brazil to demonstrate its regional power.

Off topic but we lost a golden opportunity to export Vikrant class carriers to Brazil in 2017. Lula always has had an independent streak (which comes off as leftist in South America) and wants to bolster Brazilian military capabilities. Carrier ambitions is one of them. If we go for C-390s in our MTA induction plan, we could negotiate with them to buy an extra carrier. We would sell it to them for far less than any European can afford to and also given that they are far away and friendly to us, they are not a threat to us.
