just few days ago...CV-16 was cruising in the Bohai Sea for the Field Carrier Landing Practice...the above Video news is right about this latest event...PLA Navy chief is onboard for the inspection...

The Bohai Sea or Bo Sea, also known as Bohai Gulf or Bo Gulf (渤海, lit. "Bo Sea"), is the innermost gulf of the Yellow Sea and Korea Bay on the coast of Northeastern and North China. It is approximately 78,000 km2 (30,116 sq. mi) in area and its proximity to Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China (PRC), makes it one of the busiest seaways in the world.

@SajeevJino I don't think this will be deployed anywhere outside until their first homemade AC is launched. They won't risk their 2nd hand carrier breaking down miles away from their home. Plus it looks like they are still training.

The sheer fact that it is too shiny, tells you that they have not been able to use it too much, take a look at Indian, American, and British carrier's...just look at the tire marks and paint erosion ....next to nothing...tells you a lot

In the video between 0.12 and 0:14 is that jerk normal, looks really weird. Also look at the video at 1.25 speed, the footage is really choppy.

look at you own jets then judge soone elses.
look at the tail, it's got black smudges on it.
Those black smudges are wear and tear, typical of a navy aircraft.

Indian Navy had good camo in the past for Harriers, they should use it for Mig29's as well.

Reminds me of this :rofl::

Wow wow wow.... This thing does not even fit onto the elevators. A Russian origin plane on a Russian origin air carft carrier. Owned and operated by Chinese who put the heavier side over the edge. Could not the Chinese revise the tractor mechanism to pull the aircraft from the reverse side probably using the tail hook. That would have allowed for the lighter nose section to be put over the edge. If the volumes do not match at least you can manage the weight of the article properly.

No wonder Indian Navy plumbed for Mig-29K instead. :D

Here is how the much more experienced US Navy does it.

This is how the similar Russian origin carrier elevator is used by Indians:

This is how the Russians themselves use elevators
facepalm.... Are you some kind of retard?

Dude, now our 50 cents will inform their bosses. They will just start painting tire marks on the deck to show that it is frequently used.

I was really surprised that some idiots' commments here ....LOL....

rather than talking none sense , some idiots should have an Image search about the ships of Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force-JMSDF , South korean navy ships etc. East Asia navy ...LOL...in a well disciplined army under the strict rules and regulations, the "Weapons and equipment maintenance" is one of the key daily job...the level of maintance reflects the level of fighting capacity of an Armed force...in PLA, old Motto says: 1. the weapon in hand is your second life... 2. you should care your weapon like your eyes... young and senior PLA soldiers are spending loads of off duty times to "clean" and maintain the equipments in their units which has lasted for Generations...

again, my suggestion to some young indian members...don't make yourself the joke on the internet... the world outside india is so big, and you need bigger eyes and minds...

I see East asian Navy's greater than Americans,
Also which East Asian navy has active aircraft carrier's
Or are you fool who does not understand the difference in wear and tear on Aircraft Carrier to that of Destroyer.
Painting, requires times, This is not some toilet, where by constant cleaning will make it look shiny new, we are talking salt wind corrections , heat, humidity and ofcourse Jet blast and hard rubber tracks!!! Tooth brush cleaning aint going to help.
I am more impressed with Chinese trying to copy best practices and safety equipment
But, it is quite evident that even when presented with all these things, they are not able to do jackshit with it. Which just tells you that you cant copy human experience
