Why would anyone seriously consider selling Tejas aircraft to Malaysia which by the way is not a friendly country? Just because their leader has changed doesn't mean they are now all cozy with India. I am pretty sure the Pakis will be given unlimited access behind the scenes if Malaysia has the Jet in their possession.
We should not sell medicine to pakiatan as they'll get fit and will learn how to use bomb & ak47 and will use against us.
Similarly china should not sell cheap semiconductor to us, as we Indians will abuse them on social media.

Grow up brother, stop using social media, world beyond SM is very simple and is more pro-business than religious.

As of now there is no such clause in any of the component supplied for Tejas where it has been indicated or stated that they can't be used in any export variant. If there is any point it out and I would retract my views.

Moreover we are talking in context of sale to Malaysia, not to NoKo or Iran.

If you can't point this simple facts, you are free to live in your nutshell.
Why are you dragging it unnecessary instead of simply laying it up...

1. Tejas as a fighter jet can be sold to anyone.

2. USA can object to sale of its engine to another nation and stop it if that nation is under sanction or whatever the politics involved at that time.

3. But yes we can still sell the product/Tejas to any other nation with different engine. ( If available )

The malaycucks are solidly in the middle income trap. They have Kuala lumper with is 1st world rest of it is shit. These forumcucks don't realize that we are the only one that are willing to take payment in palm oil something their existence revolves around.
I can't wait to be rid of these commodity naggers. Atleast china makes things.

If India secures this (and the jet and service does justice to both countries) then it will open SEA to India. Pull out all the stops for a first potential customer. SEA, once Bharat's cash cow, is currently China's but in fear of their bullying.

Any other countries looking at Tejas? Web search results show Argentina is looking at JF-17 or (very) used F-16s - did they specify why Tejas didn't make their shortlist?

Frankly i can't blame them.. We have indeed built ourselves a bad reputation, not necessarily accurate, over time.

Funny thing is that we already supply most of their Sukhoi spares. Those kids don't know that
Malaysian su30s ll be included in su30 upgrade program of india .

Why single them out when our own airforce guys keep saying the same thing even though it has performed well in different tests.
Of the 872 MiG-21s progressively inducted by IAF, over 400 have been lost in accidents since 1971-72, killing over 200 pilots and almost 50 civilians on the ground . These are accidents not lost in war .

.

We also saw performance of T72 in recent ukraine war .. But Arjun tank faced many hurdle .

So take these things lightly .

India Offers To Set Up Production Facilities For TEJAS, Choppers In Egypt

India has offered to set up production facilities for the manufacturing of light combat aircraft (LCA) as well as helicopters in Egypt as it pursues export opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa region reported Economic Times.

A series of high-level engagements have taken place with the nation and the Egyptian Air Force chief is expected to visit India in a few days, during which expertise in manufacturing as well as maintenance of aircraft fleet will be showcased.

Sources said the Egyptian Air Force has a requirement of close to 70 light combat jets, with a focus on local production and technology transfer. At present, the nation operates a mixed fleet of US, French and Russian origin jets and has been keen on setting up aeronautical manufacturing facilities.

India Emerges Frontrunner For Malaysian its LCA Requirement

India has emerged as the frontrunner for a Malaysian requirement of light combat aircraft, with a package deal on the table that would include maintenance and spares for the nation's Russian origin Su 30MKK fighter jets.

India has offered an attractive financial package for its TEJAS Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) and has committed that it can keep Malaysia's fleet of Su-30 jets flightworthy, given the vast spares reserve and technical expertise available with HAL.

Senior teams from the Malaysian air force have visited India in the past to discuss the proposal. India is also offering to create a full maintenance, repair and overhaul facility for the LCA fleet in Malaysia to ensure a high rate of availability.
