Just looks a great smooth finished product for eg. the canopy ejection electrical lining always looked frugal in TDs but now looks standardized and finished. Even the back panel covering. Just the large panels on side with screws need to be switched to easy access ones in mk1a.

So when will IAF get 8 foc standard from Hal for this year.
Now that the deck for the contract of MK1 A has been cleared , you can expect the FOC standards fast tracked. HAL has enough orders to keep its assembly lines functioning for the new few years and don't need to delay deliveries. SP 22 and 23 will be delivered within April this year. 25,26 and 27 by the end of this year.

Was watching sham sharma show live that taklu dalal Mitra said Tejas1A ain't 4++ gen and was saying About kaveri ( can say failure) but he also said uttam aesa as failure as it ain't in Tejas currently in short he was saying Tejas as failure and AMCA too just too negative person

His discussion from Jaipur dialogues was enough to know his analytical skills and knowledge. He exaggerates too much and is just milking the "Right Wing" folks.

No, I asked because I know that there's some bullshit rule that single-engined jets can't fly over Rajpath (as if everything else they're flying is not more likely to crash.)

Try & get a video if you can.
A Mirage-2000 crashed years ago during Republic day parade and sadly the pilot died in the crash. That's why no single engine. Tejas demonstration in 2017 was very fast.

There is no doubt twin engine configuration is much better suited for safety in the varied condition of India from sea to desert then mountains.

I wish we had opted for twin engine config with 2 50/70 kn class engines.

Do you know how many Jaguar, Mig-29 & Su-27/30 had crashed in airshows?.. Simply numerical ratio with likes of Mirage-2000 & F-16.

Crash can happen for various reasons but a twin engine configuration with western engines like GE F 414/404 series is much more reliable .

If IAF is in mood even newly acquired C-130J can be crashed.
