Dynamatic Technologies has completed fabrication of the first front fuselage section of FOC variant of Tejas .
Once the production stabilises for the wings and the three fuselage sections , HAL will be able to build upto 20 -24 Tejas mk1 per annum.
This is a significant achievement. The first step towards building the complete aircraft in house. View attachment 65090

Look at the surface finish. It's too notch.
Ask the Americans if they sorted out their oxygen supply problems in F-22, trainer, etc fighters. If not, we might have a solution. Tell them its price is much less than that of that crashed F-22.Advanced Integrated Life Support System for Tejas by DRDO.

Hope Availability rate reaches 90%+.I hear that each Tejas happens to be different from the previous one because of improvements made in each one of them but from now on they will be same and will have interchangeable parts which will make Tejas more maintenance friendly and cheap
Unlikely until numbers cross 100... 75-80% is a max for a few squadrons spread here& there along forward bases.Hope Availability rate reaches 90%+.
Only in test flying stage. Once you get into IOC stage, the design should be frozen unless some big problems discovered.I hear that each Tejas happens to be different from the previous one because of improvements made in each one of them
If the parts can't be interchangeable, that will be big issue in the quality of your production line.but from now on they will be same and will have interchangeable parts which will make Tejas more maintenance friendly and cheap
One of the reason why the production line is so....If the parts can't be interchangeable, that will be big issue in the quality of your production line.
Obviously. This is why Tejas parts have been standardized down to the micrometer; so they are interchangable.Only in test flying stage. Once you get into IOC stage, the design should be frozen unless some big problems discovered.

Bhai kya fooka hai?We should scrap the LCA and buy armed Britten Norman Islanders for IAF.
You don't realise bro.....The big flat wing on top can house 4 Brahmos on top, and lots of ordnance can be slung under the wing as well as belly.Bhai kya fooka hai?

Below is even better, bigger space, probably 8 Brahmos on top.You don't realise bro.....The big flat wing on top can house 4 Brahmos on top, and lots of ordnance can be slung under the wing as well as belly.
