1.6 m and 8g are the parameters for the test for which the jet is getting ready. They are not max performance. Max cas could mean equiped with close air support role fully while testing .What is max CAS here? Also, arent FOC planes 8.5G? The top speed is M1.6? I always read it is M1.8? Peeps please clarify...
Each lsp was different from other for the purpose of testing . One lsp is even carrying uttam now so does that make mk1 aesa ready ? No. It's preparation for mk1a. Similarly lsp which went beyond 8g was testing for foc standard and mk1a.People believe what they want to believe. Even if unconfirmed wishful claims.
There were reports that LSPs "were tested to beyond" 8G and some people went, Oh yaaas lca 8.5g capable!
CAS here means Calibrated Air Speed. What is max CAS here? Also, arent FOC planes 8.5G? The top speed is M1.6? I always read it is M1.8? Peeps please clarify...
This is the 3rd time same tweet is being posted Lol.Touching the Sky with Glory
You once posted about Astra taxi trail with lca. Was it with lsp lca or with ioc lca? Any pics??CAS here means Calibrated Air Speed.
French offering Dassualt Rafale to Bangladesh is same as US offering us 15 B-2 bombers.....................
Costly jets make no sense for Bangladesh. Who will they use them against. Myanmar has jf17. Any cheap fighjter can down that with a decent bvr.French offering Dassualt Rafale to Bangladesh is same as US offering us 15 B-2 bombers.

Yes this is just a farce. They operate J-Z and Mig-29s, and will end up with Mig-35 most likely.Costly jets make no sense for Bangladesh. Who will they use them against. Myanmar has jf17. Any cheap fighjter can down that with a decent bvr.
Is he talking about ioc Tejas. Because every single source out there qoute 1.8 for foc. Version.Yes this is just a farce. They operate J-Z and Mig-29s, and will end up with Mig-35 most likely.
But i shared for the response of HVT. Like these.
I don't think so.Is he talking about ioc Tejas. Because every single source out there qoute 1.8 for foc. Version.
But he is joking by comparing it with f35. Clearly downplaying relevance of mach numbers.I don't think so.
You could go read the convo, he mentioned FOC first flight where people asked him why 1.6M instead of 1.8M.
There can't be a better source than the test pilot itself. Clearly Tejas isn't designed for that, fighter jets these days are a lot more than just Mach numbers. Is he talking about ioc Tejas. Because every single source out there qoute 1.8 for foc. Version.
He may be downplaying it too since max speed doesn't mean much these days you can't outrun a modern bvr even at 3mach.
Bro Nilesh ....who writes on Tejas on ddr saysBut he is joking by comparing it with f35. Clearly downplaying relevance of mach numbers.
The top speed it has been tested at is Mach 1.4 but that is with underpowered F404 engines.Bro Nilesh ....who writes on Tejas on ddr says
Tejas was designed for 1.8 mach but unable to achieve that.....
So may be it's 1.6mach...
1.6M is not debatable that's proven . We are questioning whether it can go 1.8M or not.The top speed it has been tested at is Mach 1.4 but that is with underpowered F404 engines.
Yeah... Its HVT's words against yours. The top speed it has been tested at is Mach 1.4 but that is with underpowered F404 engines.
