That's where u r wrong. Give same budget to ISRO as of NASA. Then see the results.
You're so wrong if you think it is only about budget.
Bearing 50-60% of those results itself will take time.
NASA's success also lies in already behemoth and advanced aerospace industry of US.
There is no way newer great powers like China, India, Japan and South Korea can compete in space like US and USSR did. We are followers, not pioneers of space research. Their cases were built over strong foundation of experience, ours on quick economic growth and reverse engineering foreign equipment.
If India could allocate NASA like budget to ISRO, its economy and living standards would have been better at first place with an already stronger industry. It is not the case. ISRO's budget and capabilities of Indian space industry as per realisties of India itself.
