Abu Jundal used porn site chats to send messages

To stay off the radar of intelligence agencies, Syed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal used to communicate with his module members through the chat services provided by pornographic websites.

Jundal was one of the handlers of the 10 Pakistani Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operatives who had wrecked havoc in Mumbai on the night of November 26, 2008.

The module members have been using this means of communication even before the arms and ammunition seizure from Aurangabad in May 2006, said sources in the police department. Jundal was also involved in the arms seizure case.

"He used to chat with his module members from a cyber café in Aurangabad through such websites," said a police officer, requesting anonymity.

"The police and intelligence agencies usually keep tabs on social networking sites and popular online chat services, but keeping a track of pornographic websites is very rare, limited and difficult.

Such websites claim that by purchasing their premium services, one can talk with girls through video calling, voice calling and online chatting," he added.

One can also create a group on such websites and invite friends to chat.

"To lure customers, such websites claims that confidentiality will be maintained and no one will be able to access the chats," the officer said.

During investigation, the police also come across a coded email which Jundal had sent to his superiors in Pakistan after the Karnavati Express blast at Ahmedabad station in Gujarat on February 19, 2006. Around 25 people were injured in the incident.

The email, which was sent from a yahoo ID of Jundal's associate Mohammad Aquib Shaikh on February 26, 2006, from a cyber café in Aurangabad, read: "Dhandhe ka udghatan hogaya hai, 25 ko dawat kar di hai (Have inaugurated the business, 25 have been invited)".

Don't know about the world you live, but the UN has labelled, banned and declared Pakistani "charities" as terrorist groups. So, really, we have nothing to cry about. Rona dhona is your department.

Private charities are not the arm of pakistani govt.banning pvt. charities no way proves the culpability of pakistani govt or its army or isi.but connection of purohit with indian army and surjeet singh and sarabjeet singh with RAW sure points to indian govt.'s and its army and its RAW's culpability in causing terror attacks on pakistan and pakistanis.

Pakistani government is accountable for every act which takes place on its land against another. Pakistan was actually fighting against banning JuD and Hafiz Saaed; the mere fact that the international community shot Pakistan down and declared them terrorists is a shameful thing for Pakistan. Just because you're shameless doesn't change the ground realities.

Sarbjeet and Surjeet Singh were declared terrorists by Pakistani courts. Pakistani groups were declared terrorists by the UN. World of a difference. No one in the world gives two hoots about decision of Pakistani courts.

As for Purohit, his affair is purely a domestic Indian issue. Take his case up with the UN, maybe than I'll accept your view that Purohit is a cross-border issue.

There is increasing evidence to prove Purohit's innocence - 59 army officers have deposed before the Army's Court of Inquiry. Purohit was snagged by our secular government to prove Hindu terrorism, that case is increasingly becoming weak. And we have not approached the Samjhauta express blasts like your courts where 5 judges have been changed in the 26/11 case so far. In fact, our secular government has swung to the other end of the pendulum and in Nov 2011, the High Court had to issue a stay notice to the National Intelligence Agency on the point that Aseemanand was tortured and coerced in prison in order to get a confession from him. There is no proof of Purohit whom you Pakistanis speak about so much in being linked to the blasts - he is being linked to organizations behind the blasts and even there it is clear he was acting in an anti-criminal role.

Regarding the cases of Sarabjeet Singh, please refer to history. Sarabjeet Singh was picked up near the border 20 years back. You people keep telling that you can extract any confession from Kasab and Jundal if they are handed over to you but you want us to believe that you cannot do the same to Sarabjeet?

From Sarabjit Singh - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- A key witness in the case against Sarabjit, was caught on tape retracting his statement on April 26, 2008.
- None of the witness statements were recorded in front of the magistrates under oath.
- None of the four FIRs lodged in regard to the bombings contained Sarabjit's name or his description
- Sarabjit was never presented in an identity parade in front of a magistrate
A British lawyer Jas Uppal who is campaigning for his release also pointed several loopholes in the trial. She said "His identity was never verified or proved in court and no forensic evidence was provided at his trial to link him to the bomb attacks. The trial was conducted in English - Mr Singh does not speak or understand English - and an interpreter was not provided. There are other serious questions over the fairness of his trial, including allegations that he was tortured in custody and forced to confess" She held that Sarabjit's trial was fast tracked and the main witness has repeatedly changed his version of events.

You want us to believe that Sarabjeet and Kasab are equal-equal? It tells about your criminal justice system.

Indian evidences against Hafiz saeed were not convincing hence he was let off by the pakistani court. It seems even China also seems to be convinced about indian evidences against hafeez saaed so it vetoed Indian sponsored UNSC resolution against him.Again usa which declared bounty on his head seems to be confused hence atlast it said bounty is for those who provide convincing evidence against hafeez saeed which can stand in case.

hafeez saeed is declared terrorist by india alone there is no unsc resolution against him now.

People killed in samjhota express were pakistanis so its pakistan's right to prosecute purohit.

What you pass as fact is same as IB issuing alert of 3 pakistani terrorists entering mumbai but all three business men were in pakistan that time and your IB got egg on its face for the false alert lies it try to push as fact.Same the case with you wiki nonsense.

No one cares about Pakistani courts outside Pakistan. China vetoed it initially only to piss off India, but it eventually let the resolution pass once the international pressure against it stacked up. Pakistan defended JuD as a charity organization, yet, the UN still declared it a terrorist organization, meanwhile Interpol slapped a red corner notice on Hafiz Saaed. That's a slap on Pakistan's face. So is US's $10 million bounty on his head, regardless of the reason.

hafeez saeed is declared terrorist by india alone there is no unsc resolution against him now.
There are no UNSC resolutions against such criminals, only criminal organizations, such as JuD. Interpol has Hafeez Saaed tagged, no different than how Bin Laden was tagged. The monkey can't step out of his terrorist base of Pakistan.

People killed in samjhota express were pakistanis so its pakistan's right to prosecute purohit.
Pakistan's "rights" to jurisdiction stay within Pakistani territory, not Indian. Doesn't matter if the people killed were Pakistanis or not. The terrorist attack happened on Indian soil, therefore it automatically falls under Indian jurisdiction, and becomes as Indian domestic issue. At best, all Pakistan can do is ban it's citizens from travelling to India if it feels concerned for their safety. First go learn the meaning of cross-border terrorism. Samjhuta bombing was domestic terrorism, not cross-border.

I agree our IB messed up on that, perhaps deliberately but that does not have a bearing on the mountain of evidence we have on Kasab and now Jundal and what evidence you had on Sarabjeet based on which your courts in your banana republic convicted him.

ISI's Major Sameer visited 26/11 control room: Jundal

http://m.timesofindia.com/PDATOI/articleshow/14692347.cms

NEW DELHI: Suspected ISI operative Major Sameer Ali visited the Karachi control room of the 26/11 attacks when the mayhem engulfed Mumbai and gave several instructions to LeT 'commander' Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi.

This was stated by Syed Zabiuddin Ansari, alias Abu Jundal, during his interrogation by security agencies, official sources said.

Pakistani-American LeT operative David Headley too had given information about Major Sameer's role in the 26/11 attacks.

Another suspected ISI officer Sajid Mir, who was also involved in the Mumbai attacks and conspiracy to carry out other terror acts in India, helped Ajmal Kasab and nine other terrorists involved in the 26/11 strikes, to get training in Baitul Mujahideen.

Mir was a key motivator and organiser of the country's worst terrorist attack which claimed 166 lives, Jundal told interrogators.

When the Mumbai attack was over, Major Sameer told all those present in the control room to disperse and go underground, the sources said.

While Jundal went back to Baitul Mujahideen, Lakhvi stayed at a protected house with his three wives.

Following international pressure, a few weeks after 26/11, sleuths of Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency raided the control room and destroyed it, they said.

Months later, when FIA raided Baitul Mujahideen camp, they arrested Lakhvi from there.
