Centre places Srinagar on international aviation map

SRINAGAR: Jammu & Kashmir is set to get onto the international aviation map with the civil aviation ministry okaying the launch of the first commercial flight between Srinagar and Sharjah in the UAE in about a month.
“This is a historic step both for J&K and its people. Foreign travellers will soon be able to arrive directly in Srinagar,” civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said at a joint press conference with J&K lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha. The media interaction followed a detailed review of all aviation matters related to the J&K, by Sinha and Scindia.

Imagine saying the headline irl with a straight face in light of current events.

Mauni Baba was also at this event and took a watered down swipe at those who see the human raitas of Jihadi but not of his kuffar victim.

Expressing concern about “selective outrage” over human rights, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that viewing human rights from a political lens is dangerous for democracy.

“Some people characterise human rights from their own perspective these days. They see human rights violations in some cases but not in other similar cases. We have to be wary of such people,” PM Modi said at an event to mark the 28th Foundation Day of the National Human Rights Commission. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and NHRC Chairperson and former Supreme Court judge Arun Mishra also spoke at the event.

“Looking at human rights with an eye on political gains and loss harms these rights as well as democracy. Selective behaviour is harmful to democracy and tarnishes the nation’s image. We must be wary of such politics,” Modi added.

Days After Amit Shah’s Visit, Jammu & Kashmir Gets Specialised State Investigation Agency (SIA) to Tackle Terrorism on the lines of NIA. I report on the much needed step in J&K to cripple terror networks and its consequences.

I have a question, this picture shows our indian army committing atrocities against Kashmir people. Is it true? What is the truth about this Photo?

I Agree with what you say man. I don't why, but no matter how much we do For the People of Kashmir, they will still not appreciate it. I don't know why. We did so much for the people in Kashmir, we helped them in the Development of it ,we did so much for them but in the end they still will remain Ungrateful To us.

That story behind the photo was that, there were elections going on. a mob had surrounded a polling booth with polling agents and a few CRPF/ITBP personnel. Major Gogoi was sent to rescue the polling agents, stone pelting had started on the convoy. so he got hold of a stone pelter from the mob and tied him to bonnet of lead vehicle to stop stone pelting.
it turned out later that the mob was instigated by abdullah's party, the guy on the bonnet was a party worker.

Thank you for doing the fact check for me ,sir, I appreciate it very much, I too was curious to know what was the Truth about this image.

I know very well that our army would never do this, all of this is actually Propoganda being spread by our enemy country Pakistan and China.

They are trying to Spoil the Image of India in Kashmir, Pakistan is creating unrest in Kashmir by sponsoring Terrorism here in Kashmir.

It's good that we are debunking the Propoganda and bringing out the Reality. Once again thank you for your information.

These are Not attrocities . This Guy was pelting stones on Army Vehicles with his gang . The army tied him to the jeep to teach him a lesson and rest of his gang stopped pelting sones . They later let him go . This Guy deserved it . If i was an army man and he was a stone pelter then i would have surely Mowed him down with my Jeep . Major Gogoi not only taught him a lesson but also saved some CRPF guys who were surrounded by stone pelter Gang
