Hello friends,

This is my thread dedicated to Kashmir infrastructure and development after the removal of Draconian law of 370 & 35A. I understand the print and Tv media always show negative and political face to everything so it is my interest to have a conversation and show the local level development.

I will post video and article which are happening after draconian law removal.

This bridge is located in south Kashmir in Reshi Nagri Shopia which is terrorist hit area.

This bridge cover 25-30 Km distance and reduced it to 2 Km and people of that area demanding this from last 70 years, it connect Anantnag to kulgam. Crooked politician who never cared about Kashmiris devoid them of this connectivity.

People tried to cross the nala with theirs cattle's and many cattle's drowned and people died too. This is bridge that connects Shopia-Kulgan- Anantnag and will make people life better.

The roads are artery of any state they carry essential supply to the people and create thousands of opportunity which were not affordable before.

Under our Dear PM 11000 Km roads are to be macadamized under pradhamantri gramsadak yojna as previous government did nothing to maintain those due to using those funds to fuel separatist wages and stone pelting.

Shopian (J&K), July 29 (ANI): With an aim to electrify even the remotest of villages in India, Government of India is focusing on hamlets in high altitude areas of Kashmir. While abrogation of Article 370 put an end to unrest in the valley, it also gave a rampant push to developmental works.

Foundation stones of five projects, including mega projects like 12 MW Karnah Hydroelectric power project were laid to achieve 100 percent electrification in the Union Territory. Transformers and electric poles are being installed with proactiveness for power needs of locals. Locals expressed delight as they feel electricity will end their woes.

One of the locals said, “We are thankful to the government for bringing electricity in this area. Our children will now have much needed chance to study with ease without straining in low light. Our next generation will also be benefitted from this.” Other local said, “We didn’t have electricity here for last 70 years. My grandfather said that he has not seen electricity here ever. So, now it will provide benefit to us. We’ll be able to study easily now. We are thankful to the government that they restored the electricity within 7 days. Children will now have much needed chance to study with ease without straining in low light.

Shopian people thanking Modi Ji ,well modi hai toh mumkin hai.

Childerns are the essence of God and these filthy Srinagar parties devoid them of education so they can use them as cannon fodder for terrorists are the highest terrorist of them all. Even hell will be ashamed of them.

What is the long-term plan for Jammu and Kashmir? Will they get their own legislative body and chief minister or will they be a union territory forever? When will Modi lift the military lockdown?

They will remain Union territory. But they Will elect their own representatives now kashmir is not a mega state it's broken into 2 parts ladakh which is majority budhist state and they don't have any issue in being a union territory.
4G services are already restored in some districts and Lockdown will be lifted completely when winter's start in Kashmir even now people have no problems in getting food and government aid materials.
Future of kashmir depends on how quickly we are able to wipe away jihadi extremism and rebuild tourism focused economy.

I see. How much autonomy and self-governance do residents have in a union territory? Do they elect their own mayors, city councils, school boards, etc.?

Governor is appointed by GOI.
In Kashmir government is focused on conducting honest and fair panchayt elections but because of law and order situations and covid crisis we are unable to conduct them because of terrorists groups

sometimes kill the person which are standing for elections and call public to boycott the elections with their brutal power. So GOI is also Giving life insurance to the people which are standing for elections.
Next there are BDC elections.

Lockdown can be removed in winter's because snow act as a natural barrier and make life difficult for infiltrators

Can anybody who is in the know of things apprise us, common civilians whether Kashmiris will ever integrate with 'India'?
One word answer: no
You cannot change the mentality of these cucks who believe in ummah, that is why even kangladeshi raqibbols suck on pakis. Brotherhood is something missing in hindus and this is why Indian subcontinent is south asia today, these cuckmiris are fighting for their cause, do you think a hindu in tharoarkar will? Tharparkar is surrounded by India from 2 sides, Rajasthan and Gujarat, it’s the only Hindu majority district in Pakistan, did they do what these cuckmiris do here? Do those hindus say hum hindustani hai hundustan hamara hai? We didn’t even dispute it coz of the kind of stupid secularism filled in us.

They’ll continue to bleedyou, end of my rant.

I don’t think anyone will buy plot there, J&K especially Kashmir has a lot of Real Estate potential though which will be given a boost by this move, international real estate companies as well as domestic real estate companies will be able to build more luxury hotels, resorts, malls and even commercial spaces which will be great for J&K considering if international tourism which was screwed badly by Pakistani terrorism revives and rejuvenates the economy of J&K.

Without fortifications around the entire valley, there is lesser chance of individuals investing there. Most of the investments for second homes or holiday homes will go to either Ladakh or Jammu given their peace and warmth. Kashmir valley, especially Shopian, Srinagar and Anantnag have a long way to go. Terrorism won't stop until we stop retaliating and start initiating violence across the border; create programs to hit every single civilian installation in that hellhole so much that their entire ISI is busy dousing out fires at home that they cannot touch Kashmir. Similarly, pruning the local political entities off old faces like the Abdullahs, Muftis and Geelanis, etc. and replacing them with meritorious new faces, has to be done no matter how draconian that sounds. Without inhuman force across the border, we won't achieve sufficient peace in Kashmir to completely normalize it like other states of the country.

Infrastructure such as roads, hospitals, resorts, schools, etc. sound good only when there is peace.
