Security forces have arrested two Pakistan-trained Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militants in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said on Saturday.

The militants, who had gone to Pakistan on valid Pakistani visa to obtain arms training to undertake terrorist activities in the Valley, were arrested during a joint operation by the police, army and the CRPF, a police spokesman said.

He said the militants had obtained their passports specifically for the said purpose.

“These militants of Lashkar-e-Taiba were nabbed immediately after returning via the Wagah-Attari border before they could formally join the militant ranks here in Kashmir,” he said, identifying the arrested as Abdul Majeed Bhat, resident of Kreeri, and Mohammad Ashraf Mir, from Pattan.

On questioning, the duo revealed “they underwent training in Pakistan along with a large number of Pakistani boys, most of whom were from Balochistan and as young as 10,” the spokesperson said.

“The said terrorist training camps are located near Burma Town, in Islamabad, and being run by a terrorist commander operating under code names Hanzala, Adanan and Omar. Other terrorists imparting training to young boys are operating with code names Osama, Naveed and Hataf,” he said.

The arrested militants were given Pakistani visas by the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, the spokesperson said.

“It’s pertinent to mention that in the past couple of years, police have unearthed several such modules that lure young boys to Pakistan to get trained and join militancy. In the past, several such boys have been arrested, while some of them were killed in encounters,” he added.

A case was registered and an investigation underway, the official said.

“Parents are requested to keep watch on their wards. Their prolonged absence from home should be immediately reported to police so that lives of these boys can be saved,” he added.

First Kashmiri Pandits and now Sikhs
People must know when they become majority and overwhelm native population
They force them out to convert or drive them out from the place
See Kashmiri pandit exodus...see kairana exodus

If u keep on playing asleep ...this will happen

Requesting Govt to look into the matter and take stern actions against the culprits

We need to deport these illegal immigrants especially the Bangladeshis and ROHINGYAS

It is evident that something big is on cards in Kashmir. None of the actions of government is adding up to the explanation given. Is there any other thread on this specific topic please let me know.

I feel that most likely 35A is going to be gone.
If that does not happen another possible things is big action against likes of Gilani. Maybe their properties will be cknfeaticated new NIA and UAPA bill is passed.

Mehbooba is issuing warning after warning This shows that she is scared so as Abdullahs. Owaisi says that it is not going to be frightened. it means that it is also scared. There is a big action on Azam as well. In very shorts span of 3 months Shah has got four important bills cleared from both the houses of parliament. Definitely Shah is the new hero. What skills Shah has shown in managing the elections, he is showing the the same administrative skill to get the bills passed from both the houses and suppressing anti-national and terrorist activities ruthlessly. Shah is definitely new hero of Modi
government with very special and exceptional skills and capabilities.

*News Flash* :
Government of India to Make Jammu separate state, Kashmir and Ladakh as union Terrortaries Means we can't have any political party, and will be controlled by Delhi based Governor for ever. Order will be made in next 1 week. Curfew will be imposed 2 days ahead of order. It will automatically abrogate Article 370 and 35 A.

Baseless rumour. This requires a constitutional amendment-NDA does not have 2/3 majority to push this through. But something is afoot- could be a Jihadi purge like the one Putin undertook in Chechnya in the noughties. For those who do not remember the conflict the place had reached a point of no return, having been transformed into a proto Caliphate after Yeltsin pulled troops in the mid 90s. Lawlessness reigned, kidnappings for ransom, public beheadings, limbs being chopped off, Jihadis training openly under Al Qaeda's tutelage etc.

Following the Moscow apartment bombings and Beslan massacre, Putin launched a massive military campaign in Chechnya which, crucially, targeted not just the terrorists but their families too in a policy of collective punishment (like Israel in Palestine)- within months the Jihadis had capitulated and were saluting the Russian flag, singing the anthem etc. Putin followed this by throwing a load of money at the province to give the population something constructive to do instead of waging Jihad-within a couple of years peace was restored and I don't think there has ever been a major terrorist outrage in Chechnya since.

Now Chechnyans are much more inclined to violence and committed to Jihadi struggle than cowardly Kashmiris so if the above approach worked in Chechnya, it'll surely work in Kashmir. I suspect Mota Bhai and Doval are planning something along these lines....
