Dharmayuddha is to be followed only with people who respect Dharma. There are situations where underhanded means are justified to uphold Dharma on the battle field. Lord Krishna used deceit on the battlefield to take down Karna inspite of knowing who he was and why he was fighting for the opposition. Similarly, Arjunas Dharma towards his family takes a backseat to his dharma as a warrior on the battlefield. When Karna proved too strong, Krishna took the route of manipulation and deceit because the duty of a warrior is to fight and win. Underhanded means can and should be used against adharma. It's a lot more nuanced Brother.
Bro, In 2015 winters Assam rifle caught a terrorist who had killed a brother, Soldiers went to the CO asked his permission to take small piece of his leg to eat. CO was shocked and refused but after continued pressure from the entire unit he relented with a condition that no one should ever know about this incident. So do we do anything in Pakistan. NO
I hope you are catching the drift..

As far a Geeta is concerned we will have a separate discussion...Just a small correction Bhagwan Krishan used deception not deciet to punish Kauravas and both terms have a HUGE difference in meaning. Krishan was fighting for dharma and could not have use adharmic means.

Indian Army to re-introduce CASO as part of counter-terror operations in Kashmir
IndiaPTIMay, 11 2017 22:51:55 IST

New Delhi: Signalling an aggressive stance, the Army has decided to re-introduce cordon and search operations (CASO) as a "permanent feature" of its campaign against militants, nearly 15 years after the practice was abandoned. Army sources said CASO will be carried out in a major way in militancy-hit areas of Kulgam, Pulwama, Tral, Budgam and Shopian in south Kashmir.

"CASO will be a permanent feature as part of counter-terror operations after a gap of 15 years," sources told PTI. The Army had discontinued CASO following stiff opposition from the local population and after 2001 launched cordon and search operations only on specific intelligence-based inputs.

The security establishment felt that CASO had alienated the local population from the armed forces due to difficulties people faced during such operations.

The decision to re-introduce CASO as a major feature of the counter-terror operations comes against the backdrop of anger over the recent killing of young and unarmed Kashmiri Army officer Lieutenant Ummer Fayaz in Shopian by militants.

The armed forces had carried out a major operation involving 4,000 troops in south Kashmir last week to flush out militants, indicating a change in strategy. The Army has also been strongly retaliating against Pakistani firing along the LoC after the beheading of two Indian security personnel.

"The fatality on the Pakistani side in the last three months was eight, while 17 others were injured," sources said.

Top Hizbul Mujahideen leader threatens to behead separatist Hurriyat leaders for calling Kashmir struggle political

A top Hizbul Mujahideen leader has threatened to behead separatist Hurriyat leaders for calling Kashmir a political struggle instead of a religious war for the creation of an "Islamic state".

The threat is believed to be the first against the Hurriyat leadership who are acknowledged to represent the political views of a section of Kashmiris and had earlier held talks with the state and central governments many times.

The message was delivered through a video clip which contained a montage of slides showing Islamic quotes about Islam and Sharia. The person who is heard in the clip is not shown. He did not identify himself but is believed to be of local Hizbul Mujahideen commander Zakir Musa.

Calling Hurriyat leaders "hypocrites, infidels, followers of evil", the militant warned to chop off their heads "if they create hurdles in the path of making Kashmir an Islamic state".

The militant also said the heads will be hanged in Lal Chowk in Srinagar, an area known as the nerve centre of anti-India protests. The clip appeared two days after militants suspected to be from the HM abducted and killed an army officer on leave in Shopian.

In a , hardline Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and two moderates -- Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Mallik -- had said the freedom struggle in Kashmir has nothing to do with ISIS or al Qaeda.

They said there was no role for these groups in "Kashmir's political struggle".

"Terrorism and freedom movement are polls apart," they said.

The video starts with a quote of a slain militant, Imam Anwar Al Awlaki, an American-born Muslim scholar and cleric who acted as spokesperson for al Qaeda.

"We just want to ask these hypocrites if Kashmir is a political issue (then) why are you raising slogans like 'Azadi ka matlab kya (What is the meaning of freedom). La Illaha Ilallah', 'Pakistan say rishta kya (With is the relation with Pakistan). La Illaha Ilallah'," the militant said, referring to the Hurriyat leaders' frequent use of the phrase, "There is no one but Allah".

"Why do you come and address people in mosques?", the leader said in the clip which first surfaced on social media and has been circulated throughout the valley and beyond.

Hindustan Times could not verify the authenticity of the clip.

However, police sources said the voice matched Musa's earlier video and audio clips.

Zakir Musa, who joined militancy after leaving his BTech course in Chandigarh, has been touted as the successor of militant commander Burhan Wani, whose killing last year sparked months-long streets protests in the valley.

Wani, son of a school headmaster, was the first militant to use social media to propagate messages.

The trend continued after his death though Kashmir experts believe "militants post Burhan lack his communication skills".

"Burhan sounded convincing, his messages had local appeal, Zakir lacks that," said a senior police officer from South Kashmir.

The clip, which has gone viral, has generated debate in Kashmir, with some calling it a handiwork of "Indian agencies". Many expressed shock over targeting senior separatist leaders.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, the spokesman for the Geelani-led Hurriyat Conference, Ayaz Akbar said, the organisation was "looking into the matter".

"However, we stand by our earlier statement that Kashmir is a political struggle and has nothing to do with religion," he added.

Now the game begins.
You wanted an Islamic rule, Doval gave you an Islamic rule. Remove the security and they will start pissing in their pants or if they want to keep their heads, they can start singing Indian National Anthem and ask for Indian Army help.

Pakistan tells UN that India is 'converting Kashmir's Muslim majority to minority'

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Pakistan writes to the UN often, urging it to interfere in Kashmir
  • The latest letter alleged that in Kashmir, India has issued permanent residence certificates to non-residents
  • The letter was delivered to the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs in New York

NEW DELHI: Pakistan yesterday wrote to the UN again, this time claiming that India is attempting to "change Kashmir's demographic", Pakistani media reported.

India's efforts, Pakistan's letter alleged, are "to convert the Muslim majority" in Kashmir "into a minority, to pre-empt the results of a UN-administered plebiscite", according to The Express Tribune which quoted a government statement from yesterday.

Pakistan writes to the UN often, urging it to interfere in Kashmir.

This letter also alleged that in Kashmir, India has issued permanent residence certificates to non-residents, alloted land to retired Indian army personnel and non-Kashmiris and established separate townships for Kashmiri pundits and "West Pakistan refugees", reported the Tribune.

The letter was written by Sartaj Aziz, Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif's foreign affairs adviser. The letter was delivered to the UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs in New York by Pakistan's ambassador to the UN Maleeha Lodhi, GeoTv reported.

Aziz also told the UN in his letter that the "non-implementation of the
UN Security Council resolutions is leading to a grave human tragedy in the Valley", Pakistani media reported.

"It is only by the implementation of the UN Security Council resolutions that we will be able to end the immense sufferings of millions of Kashmiris in Jammu and Kashmir and bring peace and stability to
South Asia," the letter added.

EU, US need to revisit Durand Line to end Pak terror policy
7-8 minutes
SOURCE: ANI

Describing the Afghanistan-Pakistan region as the breeding ground for international terrorism, European Parliament (EP) Vice President Ryszard Czarnecki has said there is a need for the European Union and the United States to review their respective Afghan policy to foster long-term peace in the region, rather than pouring millions of Euros in aid to Afghanistan, and trying to win a war that cannot be won.

In an opinion piece titled “Time to Revisit the Durand Line” published in EP Today, Czarnecki warned that Pakistan will continue to interfere and destabilize areas across the Durand Line, with the objective of retaining control over it as it borders Afghanistan.

He suggests that there is an immediate need for the west to take a hard look at this artificial border, and restore the natural and historical frontier between these two countries for the sake of peace in the region.

“Balochistan and portions of the Pashtun-dominated tribal areas of Pakistan that were forcefully taken away and merged into British India need to be restored to their earlier status as the sovereign territory of Afghanistan,” he said.

Czarnecki said the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Centre in New York was a wake-up call for the West to re-visit its policy. Instead, they decided to send their troops to counter militants and allowed roots of the problem to fester.

“Since 2001, thousands of U.S. and European troops have lost their lives in Afghanistan and will continue to do so as long as we choose to bury our heads in the sand,” he added.

Restive Afghanistan has the potential of adversely impacting the security and stability of its neighborhood, and the world at large, he warns in the article.

“It is time that hard decisions are taken, and the historical mistake known as the Durand Line is set right,” he said.

Maintaining that relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan have deteriorated sharply over the years, Czarnecki says frequent border skirmishes are a manifestation of the inherent friction between both countries due to differences over the Durand Line.

To back his view, he cites the incident of May 7 at the Chaman border in Balochistan, when firing by the Pakistan Army resulted in the death of Afghan soldiers.

“While Pakistan maintained that it had killed 50 soldiers and injured more than 100, Afghanistan contended that only 2 had died. This incident was in retaliation to an earlier one in which 9 persons were killed and 45 injured on the Pak side, when Afghan border forces fired at Pakistan security personnel guarding a census team,” he said.

Emphasizing that Afghanistan has always viewed the Durand Line as an artificial border imposed on them by the British colonial rulers of India, Czarnecki says the Durand Line was an attempt by British India to secure for itself strategic depth and a buffer against Russian advances into the Indian subcontinent through Afghanistan.

He said this artificial border drawn by the British in 1893 resulted in the formal cessation of vast tracts of what is now Balochistan and Pashtun-dominated areas belonging to Afghanistan to British India.

“During the last days of the British colonial rule, the Pashtuns residing on the British Indian side of the Durand Line, led by Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, popularly known as ‘Frontier Gandhi’, opposed the creation of Pakistan,” he said.

“Pashtun identity was driven by nationalism rather than religion, and hence was not able to come to terms with the idea of a ‘Muslim’ Pakistan. However, when it became clear that the British rulers would not agree to the Pashtun demand for accession to India, they demanded Pakhtunistan instead, a separate homeland for the Pashtuns, a demand supported by Afghanistan. Britain was, however, keen to create a strong Pakistan, and hence, unwilling to undo the historical injustice that the Durand Line represented. Thus, the Pashtun-dominated North Western Frontier Province (NWPF) became a part of Pakistan,” he added.

Czarnecki said that successive Afghan government have refused to recognize the Durand Line as the international border between Afghanistan and Pakistan since the creation of Pakistan in 1947.

He further said that Pakistan has done everything possible to preserve the status quo, not allowing a strong government in Afghanistan, capable of challenging the validity of the existing border, assisting its proxies set up the government in Kabul and limiting the influence of countries like the U.S, Russia or India, which could pose a challenge to its domination.

Czarnecki alleged that the Pashtun and Baloch areas have been deliberately neglected within Pakistan, promoting infighting among these ethnic groups, and reducing them to being mere recruiting grounds for militants, thereby enabling Islamabad to maintain its strategic relevance in the region.

“However all Afghan governments, including the Pak-supported Taliban regime, have resisted all moves by Pakistan to formalise the Durand Line.

According to former Taliban Ambassador to Pakistan, Mullah Abdul Salam Zaif, during the Taliban rule between 1996 and 2001, Pakistan tried three times to formalize the border, but was unsuccessful on each occasion.

The recent decision by Pakistan to start fencing the border, and resultant cross-border firing by Afghan forces, is a continuation of this process,” he said.

Czarnecki said that Pakistan security agencies in an effort to maintain its strategic depth in Afghanistan have used terror groups as proxies to keep the country unstable and weak.

He noted that a decade of instability along this border has led to a situation where the Pakistani state has lost effective control of its western border, allowing local tribesmen to easily cross back and forth between the two countries.

“As long as this demarcation, which was initially drawn to mark areas of influence rather than as an international border, is given sanctity by the international community, Pakistan will continue to play its own ‘great game’ in this area, even if it is at the cost of peace in the region,” he said.

Czarnecki said that this historical mistake, or more precisely the historical mischief, committed by British colonial rulers by dividing the Pashtun homeland, has been perpetuated in recent years by the U.S. and other Western countries for their strategic interests.

He added, however, over the years, the effect of instability prevailing on both sides of the Durand line is no longer limited to the region, having now spilled over also the western world.

“Continuous flows of Afghan refugees into Europe and terrorist incidents with links to the Af-Pak region are the consequences.

In 2015, new refugee applications filed by Afghans touched 175,000, second only to the Syrians,” he said.

Protests in Gilgit-Baltistan as OBOR summit opens in Beijing
3-4 minutes
SOURCE: ANI

As China opened one of its biggest foreign policy initiatives since 1949 – the One Belt One Road (OBOR) summit in Beijing, which is being attended by heads of state and government of over 23 nations, including Pakistan, protests broke out in Gilgit-Baltistan against the ongoing construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project under the Belt and Road initiative.

Various students and political organisations including Karakoram Students Organisation, Balawaristan National Students Organisation, Gilgit Baltistan United Movement and Balawaristan National Front have been protesting against OBOR in Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu and Ghizer.

They described the project as an illegal attempt to grab Gilgit and see it as a “Road of Gulami or Slavery for Gilgit-Baltistan “. Protestors across Gilgit see the CPEC and OBOR as a ploy by China to take over their territory. Carrying placards and banners stating ” Stop Chinese Imperialism ” protestors have been calling on the World Community to stop this Chinese transgression on Gilgit’s soil which remains disputed since 1948-49.

They claimed that China has entered Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) illegally with the help of Pakistan, adding that a well-conceived two-pronged strategy has been put in place to facilitate continued Chinese military presence in Pakistan and to counter the United States through CPEC.

The USD 51.5 billion multi-layered infrastructure project aims to connect Kashgar in China’s western Xinjiang province with Gwadar Port in Balochistan.

China is reportedly establishing some military bases in Gilgit-Baltistan, a territory whose sovereignty is disputed, said the founder of the Gilgit-Baltistan Thinkers Forum, Wajahat Khan.

Both China and Pakistan have crushed the legitimate concerns of the people of the region, violating their human rights to achieve CPEC objectives.

According to Senge H. Sering, a scholar from Gilgit-Baltistan who is based in Washington D.C., “China has a huge and long-term presence in Gilgit-Baltistan and is building extensive roads, bridges and telecom networks to sustain it. The drives compelling China to develop the Karakoram Corridor are diverse and mainly pertain to its economic, strategic and political ambitions.”

There is military component to this much-touted economic development project as there is a construction of an army headquarters in the Gilgit-Baltistan region for the security of the CPEC.

Various political and human rights organisations have expressed their concern over the silent invasion of China, so much so, that Pakistan has complicated the situation further by increasing the percentage of the Sunni population over a predominant Shia region.

Balwaristan National Front (BNF) president Abdul Hamid Khan said, “The attempt (to build CPEC in Gilgit-Baltistan) amounts to a deliberate violation of the UNCIP as well as against the will of the people after the passage of 67 years of deprivation under the occupation of Pakistan in the name of (the) J&K dispute.”

The people in Gilgit Baltistan are worried as thousands of Chinese workers are being deployed or posted in Gilgit to construct the CPEC at their expense.

I don't understand. Are you saying deceit isn't adharma? The whole point is Dharma and Adharma is fluid and not rigid. Varies with time, place and context. But yeah, maybe head over to chit chat thread. We can discuss there if you would like to.

So let me get this straight. If hurriyat supports HM, they become legitimate targets for the Indian army by default and will be taken out with extreme prejudice. If they don't, HM will behead them.

Also India is a land of Dharma and we attack from front not stab in the back.
That is why you were slaves of foreigners for 1000 years. 800 years of Mughal rule, then 200 years of Christian rule (British, French, Portuguese). There's not a single major nation in the world which has not taken a bite of India in the past. Even the Germans bombed Chennai during WW2, and Japanese had reached till Kolkata. Muslims took a bite in 1947, China took a bite in 1962.

Persians, Arabs, Mongols, Turks, Chinese, French, German, British, Portuguese, everyone has bit you in the past because of these same defeatist tendencies. Thodi toh sharam karlo bhaijaan, Allah maaf nahi karega.

You know what this false bravado is called in Bhojpuri?

"Gaand fate toh fate, par humri personality na ghate".

Please mention a reference for where in Dharma it mentions to fight like a nincompoop?

Here's the full quote, out of which Dhindus only quote the first half : अहिंसा परमो धर्मः धर्म हिंसा तथैव च:

Translation : The establishment of non-violence is the highest pursuit, and therefore the use of force to kill violent people is a noble cause.

धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः Dharma will protect you only if you protect it. The 'insurance cover' of this Dharma does not extend to those who don't believe in it, since they are adharmics who need to be killed, not protected, in order for dharma to prevail. If you are lobbying for adharmics to be protected, what Dharma are you upholding?

The Jews were burned in gas chambers, today there is no Jew who says that Nazis should have been shown mercy. It is only Hindus who keep espousing these defeatist ideas. The Romans had once sacked the Jerusalem temple thousands of years ago and Jews, till today, crush a glass whenevver they get married, to commemorate that event. That is their extent of civilizational memory, and then there's you..

Every century a new foreign power comes and invades you but still your memory is not improving.

Saar most Indians have a very flawed/simplistic view of Dharma. Unfortunately it's this view that is floating around in mainstream India. This flawed ideology has infiltrated far deep and has been reinforced by the likes of Simpleton Gandhi and traitor Nehru. I am not even sure if the damage can be undone now.

This is a Jewish dog, history told him that his ancestors were persecuted wherever they went due to the uniquely curved nature of his tail, that dog put his tail in a pipe and got it straightened. No one dared to pick a fight with him ever since. Lesson learnt :

This is a Hindu dog :

The less said the better.

Hindus were the ones who elected Maulana Nehru to the helm of affairs, who then went on to preside over the partition of India, and then lost POK and as if that was not enough, lost Aksai Chin. Same Hindus who refused to sit together and eat with other Hindus or vote for a Hindu candidate because his sub-caste wasn't the same, were the ones who had no problems with voting Chrislamists to power for centuries. Hindus were the ones who showed the tolerance to allow an Italian bargirl to lead the nation for decades. The same woman now sits in her mansion and peddles narratives of an 'intolerant India', instead of being grateful and strengthening the community which showed her so much tolerance.

Undue tolerance towards undeserving people has been our bane.

Kashmiri women during Hindu rule :

Kashmiri women during secular rule :

All these noble ideas like secularism, tolerance, respect for human lives are beyond the IQ of Muslims. They only respond favorably to a certain kind of stimulus.

I don't even think these Hurriyat guys are really what they are made out to be. India has adopted a strategy of gradually nudging the discourse of Kashmir in a certain direction by propping up intermediaries of various flavors to bifurcate the secessionist narrative. A new intermediary comes up every decade with a new narrative and the groups are further split into smaller factions.

During partition, there was only Sheikh Abdulah (NC) and no other party had any presence in Kashmir, so India followed the only option possible, to bribe him with money and power and protection in exchange for his loyalty to India while covertly building the cadre base for the birth of a new party called PDP a decade later.

Over the decades, we cultivated PDP to be more 'andi-India' than NC, in order to poach on his fan following. Once PDP split the NC support base, then Congress started poaching PDP leaders to create a Congress cadre base of representatives who were more 'anti-India' than PDP (like Ghulam Nabi Azad),

A few decades later came Hurriyat, again same story (they were planted by CIA in 80's but India managed to co-opt them), a decade later came Kukka Parrey's Ikhwan.

A decade later came BJP, and now the latest news is that we are trying to plant Communist ideology there with the full connivance of the establishment. Check this guy out https://twitter.com/rahulpandita

Basically the establishment has cultivated 7 different narratives to keep the people confused, rather than allowing a single Islamic narrative to dominate. With every passing decade, power has been devolved from a single party to multiple stake holders so on one party gets to blackmail the center.

Deciet is adharmic deception is not and saying Kishana used deciet to defeat Kauravas is false narrative.

I don't understand. Are you saying deceit isn't adharma? The whole point is Dharma and Adharma is fluid and not rigid. Varies with time, place and context. But yeah, maybe head over to chit chat thread. We can discuss there if you would like to.

He is saying that we must hit them but we must not own up to it. I wonder who were are fooling by this?

If India hits Paksitan :

Does Pakistani establishment not know?
Does US establishment not know?
Does Iran/Afghanistan not know?

Every country has their own intel agencies who know what is going on. Their source of information is not restricted to reading our forum posts.

The point of hitting someone is to let them know that WE hit them in order to mold their future behavior. Otherwise it loses its deterrent value. On the other hand, this drama about pretending to be nice has worked against us in the past with world powers holding us to our promise of being a responsible power and incapacitating us from taking any resolute actions.

Hindus have an unlimited ability to take something powerful and hollow it inside out.

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam was supposed to be our template to say "the world is one village, and Hindus will show you the light by being your Vishwaguru". It was a strategic doctrine with a global approach, much like Islam claiming to "spread peace". But Hindus were so intelligent that they took Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam to mean "the world is one big family, therefore killing our enemies amounts to fratricide, so we must not kill".

When Draupadi was harassed, Bheem had unequivocally sworn to tear the thighs of Duryodhan in front of everyone in the middle of the battlefield. Had he been like our Chindibomber, he would have said, "let's put some khujli powder in Duryodhan's shirt and led him scratch himself to death. No one will suspect us." :pound:

Violent people deserve violent and public executions.
