It is you guys who are the real cash cow for Russia, Yankees and now French are all set to rob you big time.
At least we can afford expensive weapons systems- we're not that country which spends 18% of annual budget expenditure on defence & yet begs for subsidies for buying a few F 16s.

And we are not that country which hardly files 15 USPTO patents & yet makes grandiose claims about 'indigenously developing SSBNs' & 'co-developing fighter jets'.

Develop a damn commercial N-reactor, a microlight aircraft or at least a car engine before making such claims, will ya ?

A motorbike or a damn cycle first would suffice for them. Forget about the bold part, lol.

Didn't you know that they have the world's most advanced missiles even though every other country that has indigenous ballistic missile development did it from their space vehicles. Pakis skipped that class.

Has there been a discussion on why Pakis need more f16 if they have super Dupa blunder?
The F-16 is a fetish for Pakistan. The love the aircraft, but they love it so much they have compromised their national interests to get it. If you want Pakistan to jump, dangle a squadron of F-16s in front of them and they will do almost anything you want.

But since they have large fleet, and the infrastructure to support it, it will acquire more somehow until the aircraft will need to be replaced. If you think about it, it's a smart move by US to do this. It gives them leverage over Pakistan.

The JF-17 was suppose to replace the F-16, but both Block I and II models are not even close. They say Block III is the one, but we'll see about that.

Whenever a Pakistani talks passionately about JF-17 claiming the ownership greater than their's on Islam i wonder what is that then makes every new development take place in China, especially considering only user of JF-17 till date is Pakistan? Latest addition is JF-17 two seat model being produced in a Chinese factory.

LCA Tejas firing Chengdu JF-17 Thunder

Why?

The Tejas is a light multirole fighter fit for the 21st century. It uses a lot of new technology and innovation, such as its use of large amounts of composite materials, its advanced avionics system and its unique aerodynamic configuration. In terms of functionality, the LCA Tejas has good potential to be expanded into variants. For example, at a time when the air force version is yet to be commissioned widely, a ship-based version of the aircraft has already been released.

The Xiaolong is a third-generation model designed for the international market. The use of off-the-shelf materials not only cuts costs but also reduces risks in the design process and improves the reliability of the aircraft. This will not make it the best aircraft, but rather a standard, cheap and reliable model for air-to-air combat. In summation, the Xiaolong is the aircraft of today and the Tejas is the aircraft of tomorrow.

In 1998 China purchased the design and test data from Russia to aid in expediting the development of the Chengdu JF-17/FC-1.

JF-17 is more comparable to the HJT-36 Sitara intermediate jet trainer – since both have an all-metal airframe, conventional controls, and an externally sourced engine. And the Sitara was developed even faster than the Thunder.
pakis makes such stupid videos .

Rahul at present Pakistanis only produce 56% of the Junk fighter and i have not even taken into consideration the engine , which is Russian.

That too with the machines etc supplied by China.

In that sense we can say Indian contribution to Su-30MKI is more , Russia benefited a lot after MKI project be it export of MKM to Malaysia & Su-30SM etc
