@amoy Well, I don't care about FC-1.
But will China also export J20? o_O
I mean it's China's best fighter.
Don't think any J20 for export. China is doing well in weaponry export. Meantime India and Saudi Arabia top the world's defence import.

Chengdu or the CPC aren't starved for revenues so nothing to gain from exporting J-20. They've already developed the Shenyang J-31 as a lightweight low-cost stealth fighter (can't really call it 5th generation though) precisely for export to it's intended partners - the poorer countries who can make use of some reduced-RCS planes, but can't afford to buy any other 5th generation aircraft.

Got my answer. Now, let's handle your troll. :taunt:
Meantime India and Saudi Arabia top the world's defence import.
And China is at no. 3.
Ratio of weapon imports of:
Saudi Arabia : India : China =
2629 :1550 :1357
Moreover, last year India has reduced it's dependence of foreign stuff last year at a very great extent resulting SA at no. 1.
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/mar/09/saudi-arabia-becomes-worlds-biggest-arms-importer

And then, China is nearer to India.

Yes, China exports at much greater extent. We have a lot to catch up and so we are catching. Wait for few years. :biggrin2:

So, we lost in past and could handle ourselves very late. But now moving in right direction. Anyway, thanks for caring about us.

Yeah well you can call that re-export. Most of the stuff than PRC exported so far is re/reverse-engineered Russian/French hardware. They sell them at cheaper prices and to countries that wouldn't/can't get from Russia directly either due to cost or bad relations. The upside is that they get to sell these under a Chinese name, and it helps their local industry.

They also do make some improvements of their own as well, from time to time. Benefits of having a manufacturing-based economy.

@Gessler please don't annoy our Chinese Friends.

@amoy please don't get offended bro.
Let's wait for few years for India's entry in the same league.
Then, we could do a healthy comparison.

what happened to lca that were offered to sir lanka?
Same what happened to China's FC-1 Xiaolong (pakis do it's license production by name of JF17 but call it indigenous). because Lankans don't need fighter plane.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has a contract for 50 Block 2 JF-17s but as Air Cdre Ahsan pointed out, "the full AAR system will not appear until the 29th jet, which should fly later this year [at Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) in China]."

That said, at some point in the not to distant future the LCA will have quantity AND its inherent quality over the Thunder on its side. I don't know exactly what PAC or Chengdu are playing at but if you look at the inducted JF-17s in the PAF, it appears they are only averaging 7-8 birds a year. From 2017 HAL will be churning out 16/year and they are already producing 19-20 MKIs/year.
LOL...it seems some genius are still enjoying the laughable baseless building-up in the head...once again, you'd better make out the difference of reality and future (so called claimed things)...

in this world, we admire those people has achieved after hard work not the worthless empty words ...

Seems like TEJAS LCA has really hit some nerves...
Well..this is the kind of reaction that ensures that India is on the right track..progressing...giving the competitors the jitters.
