JF-17 doesnt fall under PLAAF requirement..it is a small fighter with even smaller range and not good for bigger countries like china..not even for defensive role

Thats actually quite an old image if I remember correctly, sometime around 2010-2011. Wouldn't you agree? There is no new news regarding HMD on JF17

US is giving us nothing. We will be using Israel supplied HMD on LCA. French don't have an HMD on Rafale, although it is possible we are getting it on our Rafale.

Thats why I said we might get HMD on Rafale. I am not sure about that. HMS is sure.

Lets leave out the insults directed against the nation to our west. They aren't worth the effort of hurling abuses to.
Anyways, the decision by PAF to rely on the JF-17 as the backbone of their AF makes one point astonishingly clear. The PAF does not expect themeselves to be fighting an offensive war in Indian territory anymore. Gone are the days when the PAF pilots with their American machines would launch strikes at delhi, and even more dream of having dinner at Red fort.

They would now be hardpressed to maintain CAPs over their airbase, let alone the whole country. As for breakfast and lunch, maybe they can learn the way of the taliban, i.e. the caves. Not the sprawling compounds of Red fort, but atleast away from a base with wrecked aircraft.

I know very little French, but the statement you seem to be referring to would mean, "The dreams of a JF-17 would end if China withdraws." Or something like that.

No, it says China has withdrawn funding of JF-17 development.
