Just pointing out Rafale has always been ahead of the EF in every single evaluation done by foreign forces since early 2000.

Swiss evaluation reports are open for everybody to see. Rafale tops the list, followed by EF, next comes the Super Hornet (baseline score) followed by Gripen.

Come on man, that bomb hasn't been deployed anywhere much less have any test footage. Why is that pod mounted on a heavy weapon's pylon. It only leaves room for ONE LGB.

Becuase at the moment we have not a dedicated pylon for PODS.but the jft 2 from start will have a dedicated pylon for pod

Why wasn't any of this stuff tested before induction? It entered service with PAF with basically no combat capability. Any other nation would have this stuff done at state acceptance trials.

weapon trials of jft were once done in 2006 as well

None of the fantasy weapons of China were tested on JF-17. They still haven't been fired. If so, show me the video.

you won't find any video doesnt mean they are not operational



there are no picture of aim-120 fired from PAF f-16..but this doesnt mean they are not operational with JFT

I am not impressed with bombing run of JF-17s. using pull up attack to release bombs in a dive attack is stupid now-a-days. We did that long long back in Hunters. But our actual delivery was lay down attack profile and that too using just gyro sights as hunters did not have any designator. In Sea Harriers we cud do toss bombing with better accuracy than what has been demonstrated by JF-17 and with no need to overfly the target. We wud just pull up at 4G from 200ft AGL, the target cords are locked into the system, the weapon release was controlled by our HUD/WAC and once the bombs were released we wud just roll over 135* to reverse course. The flight profile looked something like the flight of a boomrang. It will hit a top point and reverse along it.
We even practised over the shoulder toss bombing which is done for nuke delivery by an aircraft. And with deadly accuracy. So it seems that this so called latest Hi-tech stuff is basically from the genre of Hunters.

Those are the major metrics of an aircraft performance. If Rafale is better on those, it is better.

There is nothing impressive for the JF-17 except for the fact that it is cheap and probably good to customize based on requirements.
