Low end fighter- JF-17,Mirage III
Medium- F-16
High end fighter- J-10

no news after the rumours of PAF getting 36 j-10B in 2014-15

even if we started getting them.the order might never exceed 50-60

you should search about JFT III
would be a capable and nt a light weight aircraft anymore.

"Well, PAC is running at 18 JF-17 units per year presently and they can max it at 25 units per year. More than likely, Sri Lanka JF-17 will be manufactured at PAC.

Block II will have improved or upgraded KLJ-7 radar, a dedicated station for a targeting pod plus IFR probe."

PAF is finding it hard to even pay interest on the "Soft Loan" they have taken to acquire these JF-17 and ZDK-03, so you wont see J-10 until the financial situation improves. All this talk of JFT-III are just internet rumors, PR saving talks by Pakistanis.

PAC cant even make 50% of the airframe, engine is imported and so is rest of things.

Serbian newspaper Blic website reports that six global supersonic jet manufacturers have so far made presentations of their planes to the Serbian Air Force, but it is not yet known which of the aircraft - or when - will replace the MiG-21s and MiG-29s in the Army of Serbia's fleet of fighter planes.

At Air Force Command, they have analysed how far Europe's Eurofighter, the French Rafale, the Russian SU-30 and MiG-29 MM2, the US F-16, and the Chinese JF-17 meet the standards set in the Defence Ministry's official request for the procurement of a new multipurpose plane.

According to analyst Aleksandar Radic, in order optimally to equip the Air Force, it would be necessary to buy at least 20 planes, which would cost at least 1 billion euros. "It is not just about the money that would have to be paid for buying the planes, there are also the costs of use and maintenance of the aircraft. However, the military budget at present is about half a billion euros and there is a very real chance that it will be reduced in the forthcoming budget revision," Radic says.

"Eurofighter planes are very good, but too expensive for our means. For the price of one of these planes, we could buy two excellent passenger planes," an expect tells Blic, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Story does have merit. . Indonesian Air Force Chief Air Marshal Sufaat visited Kamra this month (April-May-2012)and reportedly stated that he was very impressed with JF-17 and the ircraft factory. Indonesian Def. Minister will also be visiting PAC hortly to see the JF-17 s. Indonesia may make a decision after his visit.

mtow should be more than atleast 170,000kg in jft so that it reaches f-16 block 60 in every single aspect
