rest all of them from f7

2 seat variant of jft is under development

pilots conversion does take time.and nothing is wrong about this

Two options. They will increase JF-17 numbers or by the time the first 150 are inducted, a new aircraft may be made.

China did announce a single engined 5th gen aircraft for export. So, this may be it.

Anyway 50 of the F-7s are quite new, called F-7PG. Apart from that even the old F-16s need to be replaced by the time the 150 JF-17s are inducted. So, you can say follow on orders will be given for the JF-17.

jft is a multirole fighter
it can perform the task of both the fighter.

but till now 150 jft are confirmed(100 to be manufactured by pac and and 50 we are already receiving from China ordered last year After the obl raid on emergency basis.financed by China as well

and jft 3 is schedule to enter production by 2016(officially confirmed)

Are you sure about that? If you replace all your aircraft by 2025 with just JF-17s then all you will have is 250 JF-17s(maybe) and some 80 F-16s and 50 F-7PGs. That's around 21 squadrons or 15 with 150 JF-17s. Also most of the F-16s and PGs will be at retirement age by then. I think PAF stands at 26 squadrons today.

This is not counting a possible 2 squadrons of J-10s though.

well we are making jft from scratch as was the block 1 while we will also manufacture jft 2 locally

and we are also getting 50 jft from China on emergency basis ordered last year After the obl raid.there were pics of them with il76.i will post them later

the total plan is 150 jft before jft 3 production starts


as per 2010 ye were making 58% of airframe.and as reported by pshamim that huge CNC's were installed in pac to manufacture the full airframe.

Avionic suite aswell radar production was started in 2010.

Hud,canopy, and many such more process are done locally.

The main imported parts are engine,mfd,weapons and May be more

The number of mirages with rose upgrades is very less. not 60-70.

Your claim about JFT figures is also wrong. Right now the contract is for 50 planes of each block.

we are getting 14 more f16. And is directly approved by US

150 jft before jft 3 production is an old plan and the later on the block 1 to be upgraded to block 2 standard as well

while the jft three is suppose to be a more redesigned aircraft

All Mirage and F-7 aircraft are due for retirement before 2020 so PAF is going to see deep reductions in squadron numbers to 200-250 combat aircraft.

Dude give me news about 14 more F16. I am been to other forums and even many pakistanis have accepted that you are not getting any more F16s. If you were getting them, how come no one in media is talking about it, how come PAF is not preparing to induct new planes??

About JFT. It is plausible that number of orders "may" be increased, but right now the contract is only for 150 planes, and PAF has not given any statement which shows firm determination to induct more of them.
