It was reported by the local media that a J-10 of the PLAAF 2nd Air Division crashed near Guilin in 2007, the recently surfaced internet photos seem to confirm that report.

That crash actually happened in 2007 as the blog says but the pics leaked this year only and no idea about the pilot.only sino friends on this board can tell about the pilot's fate.

it is one double-seated J10.

No, it was a single seater. It crashed due to engine failure.

So if a J10 crashed today, we will only get to know in like 2013 or 2014!!! Awesome stuff Chinese got going in that Country of theirs! And to think that they dont waste one single moment to deride IAF when on of ours crashes! I mean we go out problems, but dont sit in glass houses and throw stones brothers!!!
