If isro cant have powerfull rocket. This is not possible that build heavy space craft and landers and use nasa/spacex launcher to launch. Why Isro need to wait for heavy launcher development like JASAX use this.

Time to spend some time....
Data : https://pradan.issdc.gov.in/
currently can't access data  , let's wait i guess. Other two links which provide summary and other mission related info are working just fine.

A positive development in private space sector at least.

Here's a official page of these guys, check it out > https://skyroot.in/launch-vehicle/

Adding one pic, to give an idea.
Here's the video of their test, they pace at which they are progressing, i am positive about the development of Vikram 1, hopefully 2021 will bring some more good news from them.

ISRO is supposed to test their first-ever launch of SSLV, probably in Jan next year, I am f**king excited for that launch, ngl.

The best part about this is with the way our new private companies are growing is like a breath of fresh air, from Pixxel satellite constellations to skyroot, agnikul, etc. This can/are literally transform/transforming our private space industry. Unlike ISRO they will be quicker and hassle-free which is another good thing.

I had read somewhere that a single Japanese company supplies ISRO, chips for satellites.
Article says that Isro does manufacture it's own chips plus those which are important for strategic purposes, right now they manufacture 160nm chip which does the job, they are already working with IITs and other orgs to create a 65nm chip for their work.
For things that are not that crucial or important they go for imports.

How India’s trying to indigenise chip fabrication technology.

IIT Mandi is among the few institutions in India working towards indigenisation of a wide spectrum of photoresists .

In 2012, the institute started an initiative for the research and development of futuristic device fabrication technologies with the support of chipmaker Intel which provided $300,000 for developing state-of-art materials for 20 nanometre (nm) node VLSI technologies.

This was demonstrated for resolution of 20 nm under EUV (extreme ultraviolet lithography) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, USA.

the Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL) in Mohali uses four different types of photoresists that are sensitive to deep ultraviolet (DUV) light. As no Indian manufacturer develops these DUV resists, SCL is fully dependent on foreign vendors. The IIT Mandi photoresists team is working on developing such DUV resists.

The Space Application Centre (SAC) in Ahmedabad has done some work on 70 nm technology at the R&D level.
