Why would it delay anythign with Gaganyaan???

Gaganyaan is ongoing on full speed already. What is ISRO going to do differently that they will delay Gaganyaan now??

We are not a $20T economy that we can afford to build a ful ISS scale space station.

It will take 2 decades easily to have something like Space station of our own.

You need to live in reality. We are able to run our space program on much smaller and tighter budget. This does not means we will kick ass with US on space program in coming years.

French & Japanese space goals were were limited to exploration since countries were in decline. There is a huge gap in theirs and ours trajectory since Gaganyaan has political aspects.
Gaganyaan anyways won't be affected by US collaboration.

The thing that might be new up will be that further space stations are built-in collaboration with US which again otherwise would be delayed by a decades if not decades.

both are quoting timelines which are quite near to each other. Frankly all depends on economy and govt. In India nowadays its hazard to speculate about economic progress beyond 5 years.

I would still celebrate the experience we get beforehand. Just don't consider the people fools who have come this far with minimal resources.

Anyhow NASA will not share technology with ISRO. So no sabotage ..now comes framework.

Its can be a common protocol , that if ISRO wants to dock modules with ISS or astronauts wants to go/fro b/w ISRO space station and NASA space station. These type of framework they talking about.

ISRO/Govt already learned lesson from cryo history. So don't worry , its just collaboration how to use resources between them.

And for science , you have to collaborate , like we doing with other space agencies.

The west has only US SPACEX sending crews to ISS.. Within a decade ISRO crewed spacecraft might be docking in ISS as well . A valuable experience..
