Quite much similar to Russian and Chinese space suits.View attachment 116161
ISRO presents Indian Space Suite at the International Astronautical Congress in Dubai.
GSLV - Mk-1/2 already reached mature level ,it cannot be upgraded further . Only possible upgrades can be by replacing current Al alloy tanks with Al-Li alloy tanks in 1st stage liquid boosters, 2nd stage & 3 stage , and by replacing Steel casing in the 1st stage with carbon composite casing . Also it's not good to reuse its first stage , because it is very difficult to refurbish its booster tanks with the remains of toxic fuels. It's better to go for reusable LV with Semi-Cryo enginesWhat's interesting is that despite being traditional rocket, ISRO's pslv and gslv rockets are close to Falcon 9 series of rockets of Rockets which are reusable. So ISRO indeed has its advantages.
If ISRO creates upgrades GSLV to at least 7t to 8t to GTO then it can outbid even the Ariane 5 rocket. Due to its cost efficiency.
We need a heavy launch vehicle soon.
Also, my favourite rocket is SSLV it's just cute.
Sorry sirjee only one PSLV possible this year. But I think we can see increased launch frequency from next year onwards. They are rescheduling each and every mission^ Interestingly, the SSLV is the one vehicle, where there is still a good chance for a launch by year-end. Keeping fingers crossed. So far, it looks like even the PSLV missions are going to be postponed to the new year( please somebody say it isn't so!)
Waiting for the year we get to see 12 PSLV launches and 3-4 GSLV launches in a year.Sorry sirjee only one PSLV possible this year. But I think we can see increased launch frequency from next year onwards. They are rescheduling each and every mission
Ya'll Nibbiars may you rest in peace.Waiting for the year we get to see 12 PSLV launches and 3-4 GSLV launches in a year.
Jokes aside, how is the PIF facility at FLP coming along? What is the progress? Will it be ready next year? That is the current bottleneck holding back my 10-12 PSLV launches a year dream.Ya'll Nibbiars may you rest in peace.
It's almost complete. It will be operational early next year, may be 1st quarter.Jokes aside, how is the PIF facility at FLP coming along? What is the progress? Will it be ready next year? That is the current bottleneck holding back my 10-12 PSLV launches a year dream.

Guys , hold your horses, these are Pre- Chandrayaan-2 Plans , After it's failure, everything changed, we have to wait until they release the new plans, but its good to know that they planned wide variety of Interplanetary missions to Moon, Mars, Comets, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn and various sample return missions to asteroids & comets.View attachment 117309

This is the presentation about our interplanetary missions road map. This roadmap was made before 2017. Unfortunately we may see only Mangalyaan-2 & Shukrayaan (Venus Mission) in this decade.
