The countdown for the launch of GSLV Mk III-D2 / GSAT-29 Mission from Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota started today at 14:50 Hrs IST. The launch is scheduled at 17:08 Hrs IST on 14th November 2018.

Indian launch vehicle startup AgniKul selected for Airbus BizLab
Two Indian private startups so far I've heard of are Bellatrix Aerospace and Agnikul Cosmos. Launchers Chetak, Garuda & Agnibaan. First launch of Chetak is scheduled in 2023.
Anyways, these are small launch vehicles & likely to badly lose against ISRO's upcoming SSLV. Worse is the funding issue, Indian space startups have to struggle with funding a lot.

Yeaa they gonna face some challenges.... But the concept of Bellatrix aerospace is awesome.....
There "Garuda" launch vehicle will be a 2S2O (two stage to orbit) and both stages will be reusable !! That sounds great...
Much more better then SSLV.

This technology is going to remain with a handful of countries for decades.

Their dire need is finance IMO. Indian government should start a new ledning policy for aerospace startups also.
It's already in place with US & Japan.
