When BJP is fighting for Ram Mandir in home country and taking initiatives to fight the untouchability of Islamic laws what more Muslim vote would he lose by supporting Israel on this move. He already took a big risk when he visited Israel without going to Palestine. So nxt logical step shld be to support Israel on Jerusalem
India should not get involved into this I again say. This is not Palestinian issue and must not be confused with Gaza strip it's way different. India just needs to make sure that Muslims population in India does not do show down on Indian streets and choke the economy. That's all.

Palestinians decides to recognize Texas as a part of Mexico

JERUSALEM – In response to US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, the Palestinian National Authority has announced that it will recognize Texas as a state of Mexico since it was violently annexed by the United States in the 1840s.

“The territory north and east of the Rio Grande is very important to the Mexican people,” explained a PNA spokesperson. “Before American settlers showed up and implemented slavery, Mexico oversaw this land. Then, President Polk sent his armies to invade the rest of these Mexican territories, and force the country to give up California, New Mexico, most of Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, and parts of Wyoming and Colorado. We may soon recognize these states as part of Mexico too.”

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas says that this is a new approach to Mexican-US relations, and hopes it will help ease the tension between the two countries over security and immigration.

“We understand that the Mexican state of Texas is a sacred place for many large-buckled Americans, but they can rest assured that a two-state solution or a wall was not feasible,” explained Abbas.

“Besides, most people in Texas speak Spanish.”

The Palestinian consulate in Mexico City will soon be moved to Houston to formally recognize the seized territory as part of Mexico.

Seems the issue has been settled , Palestine can't do a thing, muslim Ummah can express concern or outrage but that's it. Rest of world may have expressed disappointment over trumps decision but nobody can stop them from moving their embassy to Jerusalem. Palestine can declare US belongs to natives for consolation. That's it end of conflict. Credit to Trump.

:pound:

What a irony.....

exactly 100 years ago german minister send letter to Mexican authority that they will help mexico to "get back" Texas and California ....

Result ?
Mexico don't care about those area anymore because he don't want to be the "vice-champion" of US-Mexico war again ..

And US ...with this great excuse jumped in WW1 . And their involvement in decisive factor for the defeat of Germans

Beware Palestine..

The palestinians can do whatever they want it doesn't change the fact that Texas belongs to the US

'Muslim countries should unite against the US' - Hafiz Saeed launches campaign in Pakistan

Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed on Friday made his first public appearance after he was freed from house arrest and led a rally in Lahore to launch a country-wide campaign against the United States President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

The Jammat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief, who carries a bounty of USD 10 million, was released from a 10-month-long house arrest on 24 November by the Pakistan government.

Saeed said the Defence Council Pakistan (DCP) will send its delegations to Muslim countries and convince them not to open their embassies in Jerusalem as he led the rally outside the JuD headquarters in Chauburji after the Friday prayers.

The banned JuD, believed to be the front organisation for the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) which carried out the 2008 Mumbai terror attack in which 166 people were killed, is an active member of the DCP.

"Any Muslim country if opens its consulate in Jerusalem should be barred from opening their embassies in the Muslim countries," Saeed suggested.

He said the Muslim countries should unite against the United States.

Saeed said the Pakistani government should immediately convene a session of joint parliament to discuss the Jerusalem announcement and make a strategy regarding it.

"Since Pakistan is a nuclear power it should lead the Muslim world. It should convene an Islamic summit and give a befitting response to the Trump administration," he said, adding that the world should also raise the issue of Kashmir along with Palestine.

Saeed has called a meeting of the DCP to discuss the Jerusalem's capital announcement of Trump.

In a controversial announcement, Trump recognised Jerusalem as Israel's capital on Wednesday, reversing decades of the United States and international policy on the holy city.

A number of JuD workers participated in the rally, chanting anti-US and anti-India slogans.

"We will gather the people and launch an organised campaign against the United States on the issue," he said.

A Lahore High Court's Judicial Review Board unanimously ordered Saeed's release on 24 November after the government failed to provide any evidence related to terrorism or otherwise before it.

After his release, Saeed vowed to continue fighting for Kashmiris. He had alleged that the US, on India's request, was putting pressure Pakistan to detain him.

India had expressed outrage over Pakistan's decision to release Saeed, calling it an attempt by Islamabad to mainstream proscribed terrorists and a reflection of its continuing support to non-state actors.

Saeed has now filed the petition to de-list him from the United Nations list of designated terrorists.

The JuD was declared as a foreign terrorist organisation by the United States in June 2014.

Shia militias in Iraq threaten US and Israel after Jerusalem move
By Seth J. Frantzman
December 9, 2017 20:25

Meanwhile, Kurdish voices have taken to social media to support recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. o_O
3 minute read.

Qais al-Khazali, the leader of the Iranian-backed Shia militia Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, is using a new Arabic hashtag on Twitter. “Jerusalem is Palestine’s capital,” he tweeted on Tuesday in the run-up to US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize the holy city as Israel’s capital.

“Trump would not have dared to think of moving the American Embassy without Saudi-led Arab normalization [with Israel],” he wrote. Khazali’s statement is one example of anger in Shia militia circles in Iraq that could threaten US-led coalition troops in the country.

Khazali was once imprisoned in Iraq for attacks on US troops in 2007. He was released in 2009 and, along with his militia, he has risen in influence in Baghdad. His fighters played a role in the liberation of areas around Mosul from Islamic State and in Baghdad’s decision to wrest control of Kirkuk from the Kurdistan Regional Government in October.

Since 2016 his militia, which is part of the broader Shia militia front of the Hashd Al-Shaabi or Popular Mobilization Forces, has been part of the Iraqi security forces.

In October when Secretary of State Rex Tillerson encouraged Iraq to disband the militias, Khazali threatened the US and told Americans to “go home.”

After Trump’s speech, Khazali tweeted on Thursday, “Trump’s decision considering Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist entity is the beginning of the end for the racist Israeli project.” His hashtag on this tweet was blunt: “Everyone kill Israel.” He called on all countries in the Middle East to close their US embassies, “mere condemnations and denunciations are laughable.”

On Thursday, Muqtada al-Sadr, the powerful Shi’ite Iraqi cleric who once opposed the US role in Iraq soon after the 2003 invasion, gave a speech threatening that his and other Shi’ite forces “could reach its [Israel’s] border through Syria.” He called upon the Arab League to adopt a “jihad position” against Trump’s decision. Sadr also said that if Iraqi militias were ready to fight the US, than “we will be the first soldiers.”

Since then, according to local reports, his activists have taken to the streets in Sadr city in Baghdad, chanting “No, no America.” According to a tweet by human rights activist Lawk Ghafuri, US flags were burned and protesters chanted, “Trump is the sponsor of terrorism.”

In a speech the PLO Ambassador to Iraq appeared to support action by Baghdad against Israel. He claimed that “Palestine and Jerusalem were liberated four times by Iraqis throughout history.” In his speech he referenced Saladin during the Crusades, and the Babylonian invasion in the 6th century BCE.

According to a Twitter account that is linked to the Popular Mobilization Forces’ media office, former prime minister of Iraq Nouri al-Maliki called Trump’s decision a “declaration of war.”

At the same time that Shi’ite militias in Iraq have threatened the US and Israel, Kurdish voices have taken to social media to support recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.:hehe:
Reacting to claims in Iraq that a new “Saladin” would emerge to lead the battle against Israel and the US, Yadgar Ismail reminded Twitter that the “people of Saladin are denied their rights in your artificial state.”

Saladin was Kurdish, and Ismail pointed out that Kurds are being denied their identity and self-governance. The Twitter account “Kurdistan army” also wondered about the hypocrisy of those in the Middle East who consider Jerusalem occupied when “they have occupied Greater Kurdistan since the Sykes-Picot Agreement [of 1916].”

Similarly, Mohammed A. Salih said that Iraqis had been silent when Kirkuk, the “Kurdistan Jerusalem,” was occupied, but were angered about Jerusalem.

Dilman Abdulkader, a researcher on Kurdish studies, wrote, “Kurdistan’s Jerusalem Kirkuk was Arabized and invaded by Iran with permission of Iraq and Turkey. All Kurds must support Israel with their capital, Jerusalem.”

The general sentiment among Kurds is that it is hypocritical for voices in Baghdad to be outraged about Jerusalem and Palestinian rights while ignoring Kurdish rights. They understand the Israeli struggle for Jerusalem as similar to their own struggle for Kirkuk and for independence in the face of Arab nationalism and Iran’s theocratic regime.:)
