I feel nations should deal with retaliation and revenge like Mongols did under Genghis Khan. Unless Israel delivers a crushing blow to wipe out hamas, this is going to continue. All of these Muslim terrorist organizations operate under the assumption that a nation state will fail at some point in future aka in 10, 20 or 50 even 100 years. That's why they continue with the low grade terror tactics with absolute disregard for human lives. Hence, unless these groups are absolutely crushed in a manner similar to what Mongols did to the Khwarazmian Empire or atleast its Modern equivalent, these jihadis are going to keep causing trouble and eventually win in the end. I really like how Mongols dealt with revenge and their enemies. Lastly, high time Israel gets their act together or they might become Isntreal soon.

if islamic nation states had the military capacity to force outcomes on their own, there would not be a need for them to depend on jihadi groups in whatever shape or form. since they were not seeing wins during middle of previous century, reliance on jihadi groups became prominent. jihadi groups are a counter balancing force to traditional armies, to keep the opponent out of balance at low cost, minimal red tape(tactical flexibility) and no governing international conventions.

western nations are not really bothered about this, is because they have no direct threat to soverignity from jihadi groups like israel or India does. so everytime some major incident happens, western nations can pay some lip service and throw cash and hope that it gets contained thousands of KMs away from their sovereign territories.
