Oh boy, today has been an interesting day !
Biggest L for Israel till date, I mean even Indian Army doesn't blunder this hard, that's the lowest bar we can set. Goes to show how guerrilla warfare can be so effective and deadly against conventional militaries.
Top of my mind -
- This was not an Israeli conspiracy to get an alibi to attack Gaza. Why? The scale of the attack & HVTs. Capturing of the Brigadier General. Military might throw some ground-level soldiers for the "greater good", but not such a senior commander.
- Getting a fucking military base with APCs, Tanks, soldiers, and sentries overran by what? 20-30 militants at max? How incompetent can you get? Brigadier General captured (probably dead), is a new star of shame Israel has to wear now.
- The invincibility of MOSSAD, IDF is gone. They are just regular military, perhaps a bit more determined. They are not superhumans. No one is more determined than a Jihadi looking for 72 hoors.
- Gaza Strip just wrote its death sentence. It's irreversible. I think every person aware of the Israel-Gaza situation kind of accepts the heavenly verdict without words.
- Will Iran/Egypt/Lebanon escalate with Israel ? Or let Israel kill Gaza strip ? The involvement of any of the countries will surely start a pan-ME war. Will we finally call it WW3 ?
- I am worried about any foolish Pakistanis/Kashmiris getting any grand idea out of this. We know LeT militants use drones in large numbers and are planning to transport terrorists with drones as well. With the Pakistan army's help and the blessing of big daddy China, this is a real probability.
