Nah, this is pretty serious. No way this gonna die down in few days. Israel has already cut off the electricity for Gaza and they'll probably cut off the fuel supplies too. There will be more escalatory retaliation from both sides.

The closest I can think of would be similar to the Second intifada(2000-2005). During that time you had a 1000 Israelis die over a period of 5 years. Here you have hundreds dying in the first few hours itself. This is a point of no return actually.

Something big is gonna happen in the middle east. Pretty sure this was likely all planned by Iran to throw off the normalization process between the arabs and Israelis..
