The Iranians will be happy about the direct attack on Israel...And the Israelis will be happy that they shot down the Iranian drones...

This reminds me of when Iran launched ballistic missiles on US bases after Soleamani and then claiming they gave a ‘befitting reply’.
Unless these drones are used as a decoy/saturation attack before something big, looks like a fixed game.
It looks foolish for Iran to get into this directly on a large scale when they can achieve much more through assymetric warfare by their proxies littered all around Israel.

Israel should not take the bait. While there is no chance of a ground war given Israel and Iran don't share borders, expanding its offensive in Lebanon and Syria will only drain Israel while the mullahs will sit pretty Tehran unscathed. Instead hit Iran assymetrically, and if commercial ships, like the one bound to India, are attacked, then do the same to Iranian ships.
