All in all it looks like the Iranians have finally crossed the rubicon. Israel has always wanted this war badly and has now got the once in lifetime opportunity that it wanted.

Smart of Israel to attack the consulate and bait the Iranians and probably draw in the Yanks as well. It's only escalation from this point on.

Couldn't have come at a worst time for us. With elections starting next week, the oil prices are bound to go even higher. The government has already held off increasing the price of petrol despite barrel prices going up from the mid-$70s to low-$90s, this is bound to take it past $100. On the other side, this may make the US go a bit easy on us to start buying more oil from the Russians again.
