Attacks on red sea and Indian Ocean shipping impacts Chinese logistics costs as well.. Given the sheer volume of goods the Chinese ship to Europe..
Net Net.. although Russia pays some penalty.. given that a large part of oil shipments from Russia is handled by Russia ships to circumvent sanctions.. An increase in attacks on energy shipments to Europe via Red sea (shipments have doubled after EU cut down energy imports from Russia ) will benefit Russia, as already high EU energy costs will further increase..
Iran of course is defending its Hamas proxies.. via increasing the costs of Israel's war on Gaza to the West..

No need to overanalyze.. There is massive level of hunger in Gaza due to the Israeli blockade.. and Order is breaking down.. Only around 10 percent of the food aid necessary is being let through..
