As for the Hamas leadership, they are safe in Doha and Tehran, and given the state of the west, in future they'll probably move to DC or NY or London for greener scenery. The only way for Israel to buy itself some peace is by completely controlling the Gaza coastline and the Rafah crossing, but the US and its cronies will never agree to it.

Hamas has ruled Gaza since 2007. They as a ruling organization attacked Israel killing civilians including babies and took hundreds of them hostage.
Israel is now attacking to recover its people and to punish the perpetrators.
The genocide I saw was what happened on 7th of Oct. I still don't get what their objective was for that dastardly attack. It sure is not equal equal like you are trying to portray.
