in propaganda wars, with enough push on an eager mind ,anything reason could be made to sound legit.

here my interest is not Israel per say, just that a "terror organisation" should not have the capacity to sack a nation state and get away with it.

let's say, some terror incident happens in Bharat, similar logic is propagated outside of the country, reason supplied to arrive at the similar conclusion PSGWSP, justification supplied could range from "they were too many of them", "with their caste system this was bound to happen", "with their treatment of minorities and human rights violations this was bound to happen" and also the famous ones that are already in circulation etc etc.

what would your response be?

There's a big difference in the example justifications you gave, which are logically bogus and can be debunked just as easily, and between actively aiding and supplying armed jihadists in other countries you hold a grudge against. For example, if it came to light that we were supplying and arming Islamic jihadists in Pakistan (for whatever reason, destabilize yada yada), and those jihadists later turned on us, it would be very hard to then claim the higher ground, because it would literally be a case of reaping what you sow, illogical and immoral.

this is why i had given LTTE and Khalistan examples in my earlier post. but don't want our convo to go into this direction, as it would deviate from my core point.

idea was to demonstrate "illogically bogus" justifications. for a third party forming opinions without anybody to debunk, justifications can be anything.

Israel Lodges Strong Protest With India Over Sanjay Raut's 'Hitler' Post

While I'm no suporter of this cheap lout , IMO the MEA should respond by stating they've noted Israel's protest dissociating from the offending comment while at the same time drawing their attention to the closing remarks of the chief guest at the Goa international film festival last year terming The Kashmir Files a propaganda film asking the Israelis if they agreed with it & if not to condemn that statement with the same alacrity & vehemence with which it raised this issue.
